Would Larry Sanders fits on the Hawks?

He can't shoot, and Budz likes bigs who can shoot. Ultimately i think that is why Bebe got traded and Muscala stayed, because Bebe can't shoot.

I'd rather have Amar'e tbh. He has a mid range game, won't have to play much (he'd take Pero's mins), brings veteran leadership ect

I think we'd make concession for DPotY talent, but I also don't think we'd be willing to take a chance with the team chemistry by taking on Sanders mid-season.

Not sure I trust Ama'e either but he's a much smaller risk.

I'm not to sure how I would feel about sanders on our team. From everything I've seen, heard, and read the guy would be a knucklehead cancer to our locker room

No I would rather have Amare or Ed Davis, in a different role!

No thanks IMO; MIL can't wait to get rid of him......with those rumors of just quitting and rule breaking, he doesnt' sound team-centric.

Sanders is a bad fit for any team. His work ethic is bad and I do not think coach Bud would like that type of guy around our players. His contract along with J. Smith's and a bunch of others exemplify why the NBA has got to find a way to deal with long term deals in a different manner, based on productivity for example. Maybe copy the NFL and its partially guaranteed deals?

Unlike Pop who would take on players with character issues like Rodman and Stephen Jackson, I don't think Bud is that type of coach plus the Hawks are set at center with Horford/Antic/Brand. I could see a team like POR benefiting from a Sanders addition.

Sanders is a great fit from a talent/positional perspective, but from a maturity perspective I'm not touching him with a 50 foot pole.

This is literally a guy who cares more about smoking blunts than his NBA career. I personally don't care if players smoke or not, but his continued usage and defense of it even in the face of multiple suspensions gives you a clear indication of where his priorities lie (hint: it's not basketball).

Rodman never played under Pop. When he was at SA their coach was Bob Hill. Phil Jackson make it work perfectly with Rodman.

And after reading this- http://grantland.com/features/inside-mi ... n-jackson/
I can't really say S Jax is a bad guy. He had off the court troubles but all of his teammates loved him.

SAnders, is intriguing. But, his maturity sucks. Signs big contract, gets in bar fight. But this current batch of stuff coming out, its difficult to know what is true. A lot of people have been saying that this is Jason Kidds people leaking bad information to hurt Sanders because he has beef with Kidd and his coaching Tactics.

If Sanders is willing to be bought out for 13M and leave 27M on the table, you know something upstairs is missing. He has already reached his max deal he will ever see.
