Cousins for Demar + Val.

Cousins-Lowry is what we need. Then sign KD in 2016 and proceed to win the championship.

You guys are living in a fantasyland. Demarcus Cousins isn't going to be traded right now.

It would be insane to trade 22 year old JV. He may well be headed for a Marc Gasol career. In fact moving Ross, JV, Bruno or Bebe now kind of burns our future potential. Kanter is the guy we should get. Then we have one more asset for a potential package a year from now. That's only a 5 hour drive to Amir's new Vegas palace from Salt Lake.

So if any of you here think the Raptors are going to be trading away kids with upside, and that other teams will be taking question marks for hall of famers, please let me know what your favorite poison is, because I might want to give it a try!

I like the flow of this post. having said that stupid GMs will do almost anything. How else did New Jersey get Vince Carter without giving up anyone of quality?

I would take JV and Ross for 2004 Vince Carter any day over the lump of coal that was deliverd from New Jersey.

If you can trade those two for a legit star like Cousins, you make that trade as fast as you can.

They would have to be giving us something good to get JV, something worth our time. I wouldn't do that for Faried, for example.

I can't some fans here don't want to trade for the best center in the league ... I would not only trade JV + Ross, but I would throw in couple of first round picks and even more ... This team with Boogie + Lowry + Demar is legit contenders for eastern conference final ...

Sounds exactly like someone who hasn't watched DMC play. He has been of the best defending bigmen in the league so far this year.

We're not getting him anyway, but one can dream, right?

i give it a 2% chance of happening cause you know, anything can happen.

I am not sure about Boogie but Raps is going to land a SF , a PF or both.

KL/GV
DD/Lou
???/JJ/Bruno
PP/???/Bebe
JV/Steimsma/Hayes

TRoss and Amir Johnson are definitely moved by trade deadline.

I don't think we're going to move Amir. At all.

Carmelo - just no for obvious reasons
KD / Westbrook - untouchable
Anthony Davis - untouchable
Hayward - not a position of need
Wiggins - Franchise player
Boogie - The only realistic trade option

Dumb question... Who is boogie? That's what I call Alvin Williams.

I don't know man. If you make it JV and DD for Cousins, you are kind of betting the farm that TRoss turns into DD this summer, AND that Cousins isn't as much of a head case as he seems to be - AND will want to stay in Toronto, Canada.

I doubt anyone would be giving away their star right now, so It's safe to say this writer is just pointing out the obvious, we'd be willing to trade our core for better core pieces.

I'm not going to comment on the pieces or trade, as we as Kings fans like DeMarcus, but the philosophy of betting the farm For a star that you mention

To get a young player of top 10 stature someone is giving value. Rarely is it that you can pick up a player of that quality by giving your extra parts. Just doesn't work that way. Especially when that player has three years remaining and the rest of the league would give quality offers

Whoever trades for superstars usually takes risk and makes sacrifices. If Westbrook comes onto the market I would understand that when contemplating him for my team. As a Kings fan I don't personally consider Cousins on the market though

tbh this is probably just a baseless speculation/rumor started by one of the fail gurus. but our fanbase gets excited too easily. oh and we never stop dreaming

all this is nonsensical to state the least.

Masai has repeatedly said that he will not make any short sighted moves, trading JV who is improving on year-to-year basis, would a bad move ; on the other hand, what happened to all those posters who were basically starting here last season that he will be the next Paul George? :D

PG is on a whole other level, his worth ethic is the major difference, I was never too high on Ross, in any case, he will have to be traded as its him or Bruno, which player has more potential & thats what we're discussing here, as there isn't space to continue to develop both of them here. Ross will be a 6th man at best, if he improves his shot, he will be like lou wiliams, a streaky shooter; as he simply lacks the desire to goto the basket more often.

1 more thing, it was either in this thread or the another, people are hesitant of resigning demar? like seriously, haven't we learnt our lesson from the bosh departure; if DD makes the last all-star team next season, as well as raptors winning, we should resign him. it would be stupid not to; demar's importance showed what we will miss - without him we would have problems drawing fouls & getting calls from refs.
