Pretty good stuff with some in game footage that's probably not been aired before, especially with Shaq, Phil & MJ.

Everyone wants to say no.1, no.2 blah blah blah, but these guys needed each other equally in order to win the championships.

Re: Kobe's Interview with NBA.com
Great interview.
What impressed me is just how hungry both Kobe and Shaq were to win.
They just had different philosophies about how to win.
And there is no doubt, they needed each other, and they both knew it.
I watched a lot of the interview and it is amazing how much of a student of the game Kobe has been most of his life. He took every opportunity to learn, and probably still does.

Re: Kobe's Interview with NBA.com
I remember reading a Kobe book I got from a family friend as a kid and I remember a line where it said that following the airballs in Utah, Kobe was hanging his head low and Shaq told the rook, not to worry, they'd be back next year. Despite their issues, I agree, they needed each other. When they were on, man that squad 1999-2003 was amazing, that summer of 03 it all went down the ****
I feel people love hating kobe here in la, but man watching that guy work is truly an inspiration for anyone, many of Kobe's outlooks can be applied to one's own life, I've always loved that aspect of hearing Kobe's interviews, plenty to take away

Man I wish Kobe comes back strong next season....I understand the whole he's crippling our franchise thing, but I never want to see the dude retire. I'll genuinely be in tears the day he decides to hang them up.

Amazing interview. If I'm only half as obsessive as Kobe in my own profession maybe I'd go places too lol
