That trade proposal proves GOS is trolling the win later majority on Realgm much of the time, or he's actually Herb Kohl.

i doubt denver wants knight.

why would they trade lawson for the right to overpay knight unless they specifically thought knight was an upgrade? theyre going to want picks or players in the beginning of their rookie deals (jabari, inglis).

I'd do Knight, OJ, and Clip's first for Lawson and a Second

Me thinks either Henson or Ersan may be on the move, but not both. Kidd seems to view bigs pretty interchangeably.

I'm not sure why Denver would do the trade because given Lawson's contract, Knight is likely going to cost more.

Lawson is 4 years older, and isn't making the FO happy with his off court shenanigans, would be my guess? I'm sure the Nuggets are really looking for the best 1st round picks they can get though.

maybe we have to give up this years pick too in all of this nd we get some other asset somehow but boy oh boy I like this team assuming dragic gives us affirmation he would stay here for the max

team would like like

dragic, bayless, marshall
middleton, stauskas, Jorge
giannis, Dudley
Gibson, Thompson
Henson, zaza, martin

anybody tempted for the homerun ball? I doubt id pull the trigger on this just because im not sure I could trade parker but still just a brainstorm for the 2 guys being mentioned I would absolutely die for here (dragic and taj)

I think this is the most fair trade I've seen involving some of the rumored names we've been discussing so props for that. I wouldn't do it and I don't think the Bucks would either, but it is probably closer to realistic than in terms of pieces exchanged than a lot of things people are throwing out there. Just my opinion of course, I'm sure most won't share it but a lot of people are overvaluing our pieces.

It's realistic In that we are giving up young assets to rent a non superstar for 30 games when we're not contending. Wouldn't be the first time Hammond did it.

Jabari knight mayo and a 1st for 30 games of dragic and Taj gibson is fair value? We are getting destroyed in that deal.

Unless Giannis learns to shoot I am seriously concerned with him at SF. Maybe we play Parker outside more as a SF on offense? Otherwise our spacing is going to be awful. Middleton is the only legit 3pt threat.

I love how Parker injures his knee and all of a sudden he's expendable. He was the best rookie EASILY before he went down. He was efficient and shared the ball. Terrible on D but not as bad as advertised.

It's stuff like this that makes me come over to this forum....you guys crack me up

Haha dude had the nerve to add +minor piece at the end.

I've seen several forums do fantasy trades for cousins I'd like to know where this nonsense started. WE ARE NOT TRADING COUSINS period.

As long as our front office realizes what unique commodities that Giannis and Jabari represent, I have no problem with them filling in other parts of the roster with vets of varying ages. No team has ever won a title for example, with 12 guys all exactly 28 years old. It is just the nature of sports that any roster is going to be filled with players at diverse stages of their careers. Lawson still has several years left as a lead guard who can get in to the lane at will, set guys up, and score. I would love to add him, provided it doesn't cost us too much. Some of you act like anyone 28 and older should retire and become a greeter at Wallmart.

Does it matter? We aren't trading Jabari.

With giannis and parker together in the lineup, it was most effective to use parker at the 3 and giannis at the 4. i think that's the way it looks in the future.

No longer interested in Lawson. Two DUI's (The latest less than a month ago) and pleaded guilty to underage drinking & driving while when he was 20.

No thanks.

I threw in a qualifier that I would never do that deal, it's not a realistic deal anyway. I think I'm just tired of people overvaluing some of the trash pieces we have like Ersan and Mayo, thinking they're going to help us make a good trade. Even the Ersan for Stauskas/Thompson deal seems too good to be true. Maybe I'm too much of a skeptic.

i dont like watching knight pound the air out the ball, but i do think hes gotten better this year. if we can get him for less than 4/48 id be happy to resign him.

id much prefer that over trading him and 2 1sts for dragic and stauskas.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about either. More concerned about ankles. But I still believe he will be a bigger impact on wins than Knight the next three years, at a similar or less cost. Knight/Clips 1st would be the package I'd start with but I wouldn't overpay for Lawson.
