I don't see the risk/reward being even on a player like that for this team if the goal is to win games.

Fair enough. It would certainly be a risk. Like I said, it depends on the price for me. If it doesn't cost too much, I think his strength, inside scoring ability, and decent rebounding would all be big upgrades for us. I don't know much about how much of a black hole he may or may not be though. I do know that he's a poor defender, but so is Zaza, so the only concern I'd really have about it is if he's a massive black hole, and whether or not Kidd could snap him out of that.

If you want rebounding and scoring with no defense, you could get David Lee for Ersan/JOB.

Yeah, I'd prefer Lee personally. I mentioned in the predictions thread that something like Ersan/OJ for Lee works on paper, and I feel like both those guys would be able to help Golden State, but Woj reported that the Warriors have already received interest in Lee involving draft picks going to Golden State that would seemingly trump Ilyasova/OJ.

He lasted longer than Nate Wolters. Bucks were wrong again.

people need to stop saying dragic would be a rental. we offer him 5/100... nobody can trump that and then we have the top pg in the east for the next 5 years.

we need to go all in for this guy. its making me mad a 28 yo all nba pg is available and were discussing the merits of whether wed even want him or not. the suns are asking for a lanier package. its peanuts.

2nd round picks gonna 2nd round pick. Maybe going forward lets not get too worked up over which borderline NBA player/2nd round pick we trade/waive/sell...

1. I don't think he'd be the top PG in the East. I'm not even sure he'd be in my top 3.
2. Just because we could offer more money doesn't mean he'd choose to return.
3. He likely wouldn't be worth the money for the last year or 2 of that deal, which is when we'd probably start thinking about contending.

At the end of the day, I'd just rather keep our young improving guard in Knight rather than trading him and a pick so that we can hope that Dragic takes a max contract to play for us.

It's easy to get excited about a point guard that passed when we are used to Knight/Bayless pounding the ball out of shape.

I wouldn't, seems the exact opposite fit to what we are rolling with. I'm all for dumping Ersan don't get me wrong but not for the sake of ruining the offence. I just want a big that can defend and rebound, scoring isn't even a big factor.

But seriously, guys like Ledo is exactly why you don't lock up GUTZ right away. You never know who might become available.

I knew we were drunk on win now, but I didn't realize it was trading for David Lee/Pek or trading multiple assets for the right to offer Dragic $100 million drunk.

Sure, let's trade a near All Star guard in Knight for Dragic, who will receive MORE money in the FA market than Knight, is 5 years older, and doesn't even have a guarantee of staying here.

Man, I didn't know Kohl had so many accounts on here.

So apparently the Kings and Nuggets have dropped Milwaukee from the Stauskas-Afflalo conversation.
