I've been saying that I think Noel will become attainable. Not that they are actively shopping him but that they'd move him - especially depending on how June turns out for them. Their only untouchable asset is Embiid.

I think I'm in the minority on this but I'm not that impressed with Noel as a prospect. Sure he's a good shot blocker but his offensive game is pretty bad and may never be above average. He's also so dang skinny for a center. And the knees a legit concern, the suns training staff crossed him off their board because they didn't like what they saw.

I'm not saying he's a scrub or anything but just not an elite prospect.

Again, I don't think we need an above average offensive center. Sure it would be nice, but with Giannis, Jabari, Middleton and a pg that can shoot the 3 I think we are more then potent enough offensively. We need a defensive big like Larry from 2 years ago. I think Noel can reach that level comfortably so id love him on this team.
Only point I'm hesitant at is your really banking on two guys with a history of knee injuries and there's potential for it to go belly up big time but that's a risk either way.

Noel has the potential to be an amazing defender, if we could get him it go a long way in easing the pain of losing Larry.

Noel's offense needs a ton of work and he's a string bean still who, like Henson, is liable to get pushed around on the block. That said, his D instincts are a lot better than Henson's and he'd be a terror in our system. Almost like a younger Larry without the psychological issues, really.

Noel v Henson has to be pretty close at this stage, but Noel has more potential offensively I think.

He has a lot more defensive potential as well considering he's a considerably better defender at 4 year younger.

Henson blocks shots. Noel plays defense.
