No way the Lakers trade for IT when Dragic has them on his short list. This situation also has the potential to get worse because we made it clear we'd rather trade Isaiah Thomas than Goran.

Trade IT to Miami and keep Goran or trade him elsewhere.

Ahh that awkward moment when McD meets with Thomas in the morning to tell him that they've never wanted to deal him and that they were just trying to increase their leverage for a Dragic trade by offering him to everyone publicly and saying that Dragic was borderline untouchable.

Worse than losing Dragic and reputation around players in the league with that fiasco is the after effects on our chemistry. You thought it was bad before? It must be hovering near zero now. I hope we don't become a dysfuntional locker room. Thomas HAS to go. Again, i hope we'll play our young guys a lot now, I see this as the only way of saving our chemistry. Could develop a new dynamic

Honestly, I would love the Suns FO to pair up Bledsoe and Afflalo as a back court due...

The FO/coach gets the full blame here from me.

I'm not sure of the team leak, if it was agreed upon or not. Seems odd they would only give a partial list.

But back to McDuh... he has maniacally went on an asset binge... just like papa Ainge. Stock piling players as if they are firewood. throwing together a bunch of parts with no clue on how they will work together. This team was poorly constructed. The concept was a disaster. The off season rates a D- now.

Put a load of hindsight in the trunk and no way McDuh signs IT, no way he gives 50 mil to the ThugBros, obviously, no way he signs Tolliver. The handling of Bledsoe was a contentious game of chicken and resulted in an anti-climatical disappointment for player, but a victory for the FO. Yay team? We think we got a good draft... but we don't have any idea really do we?

Right now, I think there is an undercurrent of mistrust towards the FO. I think we have a leaderless caustic locker room, with a girl scout for a coach. BTW, No less than three players have mentioned 'trades'. Dragic's nuts were just bigger than Plum's or Archie's. Tolliver just thanked us.

Did the Dragon screw us ??? I don't know, lets see how it plays... but did we screw him ? I say it was a significant rogering.

Bottom line is, it isn't 'fun' anymore being a Sun. Dragic experienced the hey day of camaraderie and chemistry.... and winning.... but this squad is the epitome of that.

PS... RA with some Sunshine above

I've been saying it for a while now...

Loyalty to players will just lead to heart breaks...

There are a handful of players that are "worth" investing a lot of loyalties to today... Duncan, Nowitski, Ginobili, these guys take pay cuts to stay on their teams and help them stay competitive, even sacrificing their stats and role...

Basically always support whats best for the franchise, because this is a team sport... if a player happens to show as much loyalty to the team as the fans and willing to sacrifice for the franchise, then those are the players worth investing a lot of loyalty to.

"loyalty" to players is kind of understatement. I would classify it as worshipping the players for many fans. I particularly know many African American communities in NY that worship NBA players and affiliate their place of worship with NBA players. It's really more of an NBA thing than other sports frankly. Colts fan were pretty cool with Peyton walking in free agency. MLB has big name players being moved every year and fans are more business minded here and understand the reasons.

And yah like you said you'll be heavily disappointed if you worship a player and they leave. Possibly depressed. Remember that quote from senator in Minessota about what would some people do if NBA went out of business? Was absolutely out of line, but is sadly true. I can show you at least 5 different Suns posters here type in the last week that there is a 100% chance dragic isn't traded and will resign with phenonix year. And several even had "dragon" in their name or pics in signature. Can you imagine their reaction if their guarantee ends up being wrong?

People need to learn from Morey letting parsons go. Remember those days 90% of rockets fans worshipped him and guaranteed he stays long term? So why did Morey let him go and not match? Because you have to treat an NBA player no different then other assets like stock or real estate. Morey said parsons contract wasn't trade-able. And yah most of those rockets posters all disappeared when parsons was gone. They were absolutely heartbroken.

Im pretty sure the people who were around during the Nash departure and subsequent Beasley and Brown year (such as myself) will survive.

Dragic f**ked us and he f**ked us bad... Penis meet ass.

I don't think this is true at all. The last three months of his contract doesn't have a lot of value if you know he won't re-sign. He just told at least seven teams that if they trade for him, he will re-sign there.

He also just put himself up for auction but declined to invite his stalker. So things could get interesting. I do believe we get our two assets this way. And there's plenty of time to orchestrate something. I'm staying tuned...

My take; I am seriously bummed because I genuinely envisioned Dragic being our Ginobili, but if the max rumours are true, then I am fine with trading him now. I would not want him under contract for that, despite being amongst the big Dragic homers out there.

If you've watched him all season and especially watched the post game interviews you could've seen it coming from a mile away though. Especially one of the last ones on brightside where he just seemed genuinley crushed and broken about the teams loss, chemistry, overall situation and you hear many other players laughing and not giving a **** about anything.

Spoiler:
I agree with the ones saying that we took every step possible to piss off our all NBA guard (signing two additional PGs, play him off ball, etc) the very next season, in his contract year nonetheless. He has been trying to adapt at first, but I feel like he's been fair because he has been honest and straightforward about his feelings in interviews and very much voicing his concerns lately. So I believe he had tons of internal talks too and the FO/coach still didn't do anything about it.
You don't treat your star like that and I hope potential future star signings didn't take notes...

Bottom line with the max supposedly on the table I am fine with trading him, I just hate how it went down and that it had to come to this.

Still hope that we trade IT, I think he is a good player but i dont like his game. I already don't enjoy Bledsoe's game but he should stay because overall he is a very good player, now without a doubt for once our best. Don't want to dislike our entire PG rotation, looking forward to watching an old school distributing PG like Ennis again on my team. Give him the second unit, if we're still trying to compete while rebuilding now I'm gonna lose it.

If we don't start playing our rookies tons and tons of minutes now I will freeze my ballstreams account and not religiously watch 97% of games week in week out for the first time in probably 5 years...

Yep, that's exactly the one I was referring to.

We f*cked him royally before he f*cked us. In a contract year no less.

The propaganda machine cannot pin this on Dragic - we've got a sh*tty ball club; Blanks / Beasley / weird Bledsoe negotiation / weird IT signing / total mismanagement of Dragic. Pretty sure that's how it is.

Quit drinking the Dragic Kool- Aid there . The Suns " F*cked him " ?? Talk about being OVER DRAMATIC!!

Dragic been with us for what 2 years now ? and in that time he led us to 2 Finals appearances , and made 2 All-Star appearances , along with 2 MVP Awards He ,,,,,,,,,,Wait,,,,,,,,That's right,,,,,,He didn't.

He's done NOTHING but have 1 great year . And now the sky is falling ?

This guy reminds me of Jeremy Lin , A flash in the pan . I for one am BEAMING that the Suns won't be paying this guy max money .

The Suns owed this guy NOTHING , and IF he was quite the Superstar that YOU apparently think he is , THAN MAYBE McD wouldn't of added another point guard to the team . 1 great year , Was it GREAT ? Or was it only GREAT because it came unexpected to us ?

The Suns gave this Jeremy Lin clone a chance .He decided to leave ( THANK GOD!!!!!!! ) before he forced the Suns to overpay him , Great , He's entitled to that . Don't blame McD , or Horni for " total mismanagement of Dragic " . Not sure , But THEY probably know a helluva lot more than YOU do .

Attn: Lakers fans
You want Dragic? The price is Julius Randle and to remove protection off the pick. That too much for you? Okay fine. But stop making up these horrible trade ideas. The Suns are not interested in your garbage. Anything else on your team besides those two options is awful. You have nothing else of value to offer besides those two things.

There are many other suitors for Dragic. You need Dragic way more than the Suns need you as a trade partner. Get over it.

Every GM is handed 3 shots when they get the job. They're 15m type contracts for 3 players.

The GM that makes 3 shots, has 3 All Stars and a championship contender.

Using 2 shots on Bledsoe and Dragic who have never been All-Stars, might not have been the effecient play.

I'm optimistic we can create another chance for a higher % player soon enough, so the main thing we lose is time.

Come on man I get up at 6am every morning to watch them without knowing the scores...If Thomas was starting and not playing predominantly against back-up PGs, they'd run switches and post him up, without a doubt.
