I don't think we should be thinking about Middleton to Utah. It would be something else if Giannis_Parker actually has any sources.

G_P works at Cousins.

Not trying to call out Giannis Parker but I am skeptical of his "sources". Just because someone works for the Bucks doesn't mean they are in a position to know what's actually going on. I appreciate knowing the things he hears because they make for good discussion/debate but I don't take them too seriously. Maybe I'll end up looking like the idiot.

Pekovic gets us into the second round and his value is probably at an all time low. He's perfect paired with the Greek's length. Ersan/JOB/Clippers pick gets it done. He'd be beloved in Milwaukee.

Oh, I don't believe a word Giannis Parker says. When he calls some trades or draft picks, we can talk. And that isn't anything personal.

I will hate it if we are trading Middleton for pretty much anyone.

Do you think they will be able to sign both Knight and Middleton? I don't, I would prefer Middleton, but not sure the Bucks do, all it takes is one team to go overboard on an offer sheet and you are screwed, you get nothing.

I dont see why we woudnt, especially if larrys buyout saves us ~$9M. At this point i just want to get past the deadline without doing anything stupid and worry about stuff during the offseason

If I was LxE I'd be trying to dump Ersan. That's probably it.

the fact nobody is interested in a 22 year old 7 footer averaging 14/8 or whatever should tell you a lot about the player he is

This is how negotiations work. Both parties start at opposite ends and lowball/overvalue what they have. There is interest for Kanter, just probably not for what the Jazz are currently asking. We will see if either party comes up/down from their original bargaining point.

I'm not interested in trading middleton either. Do wonder if they are gauging the market and maybe scared of the contract he might get on the open market. If they aren't comfortable paying either knight or middleton then by all means trade them today.

Teams look willing to throw around crazy money this summer. I bet knight gets 4 and 60 and middleton isn't too far behind with how teams value shooters.

Wow. I just read the past few pages and now my anxiety is rising. If our first trade deadline with the new constituency consists of us trading for overrated rentals I'm going to be upset. Kanter is a ball-stopper who only cares about getting his. Jackson is an older Knight with a worse jump shot and even more delusions of grandeur about his own game...f*ck

So people complain about Kanter's defense and passing but want Pec who is just as bad (if not worse) at defense/passing?

Dump Ers and possibly JOB, he's a waste of a roster spot.

As PP mentioned, I'd love to see the dynamics of the front office right now. I'm curious if Hammond is in most control and Kidd signs off on it. Or if Kidd/Hammond are in works together and Hammond works with the guys he's tighter with, vice versa with Kidd. Or is Hammond strictly a GM in title and more geared toward the draft, whereas Kidd has control of NBA. It'd be interesting. To me it almost seems like a Seattle setup, where Hammond is still the GM but Kidd has the final say much like Carroll in Seattle.
