Wow, so what if we don't deal him? He's stuck with a 4 year deal?
And if he only wants NY or LA, there's really no incentive on our part to deal him there. We'd get nothing in return.
Instead, he'll remain a Sun and either get boo'ed hard every night, or cheered with the hope he'll change his mind.

Wow, Dragic has literally back stabbed the Suns and pissing in the wound.

Won't even entertain potential trades.

if he cant be dealt for a fair value.. keep him.
McD should then do, assuming it is legal.
- Bench him for the rest of the year, "DNP".
- Ban him from practice, not use any of the Suns equipment to keep fit and in-shape, because he is not part of the team after the next 30 games anyways.

I want to see if someone offers a max contract, considering he will be out of shape and out of NBA form.

Sigh - you've managed to cut Dragic off at the knees based on heresay. Bravo.

Unless the Suns get a healthy return for Dragic, IT is packing his bags and heading to the cold cold cold. Vroom Vroom.

Suns are then going to try to convince Dragic to stay. They feel like they played hardball with Beldsoe and won. They will do the same with Dragic rather then take scraps.

I hope it`s Minny for Zach LaVine. Some Wolves` fans on trade board like IT and were willing to trade us LaVine for him couple of days ago.

Vroom Vroom is Detroit.

how will they convince him to stay when he has 2 offers of 4/80mil on the table from LA and New York?
Will they be willing to pony up?

So are we going to put ourselves in a position to commit to a tank next year? I would assume playing our yungins would be the motivation but hey if we get a top lottery pick all for the better

Yeah the vroom vroom is definitely the Pistons.

I really really hate the keep him and convince him to stay "plan". Just seems like a complete disaster waiting to happen.

Perfect. Work out a 3 team deal between Miami, Orlando, and us. As long as we get Harris I'm good.

Even Billy King wouldn't try to keep Dragic. That rumor is complete BS or our FO is the most delusional group imaginable.

Never seen a guy with as little on his resume as Dragic has act this way. No all star selections. Been to the playoffs one time as a back up that barely played. Only one good season in seven years of playing in the NBA. I remember Barkley asked to be traded in 1992 because he was one of the best players in the league and he wanted to go to a better team. Dragic is doing the opposite. He is asking to be traded off of a good team so he can run a team the way he wants. He does not care if it is a good team. All he cares about is market size and his personal goals and doing what he wants. I am not going to be sad when the Suns trade him.

I know it's 50/50 here but we're looking for a big-- maybe take a flier on Monroe, make the playoffs and see if Goran has a change of heart.

I think it's a terrible idea, btw. I would take 25 cents on the dollar now for Goran. What he did is inexcusable.

Lets just say Dragic is not traded by the deadline.

What type of reception would be receive from the Suns crowd when he plays at home......will he get booed?

If convincing Dragic to stay means paying him $20 mill a year then count me out of that dumbass plan

I would boo him for the first home game and then do nothing after that

Just curious,
at this point would you accept Tim hardaway and 2018 protected first for him if nothing else materializes or would you rather take your chance on retaining him

Has our crowd ever produced a good, solid chorus of boos?

I would go to the game Monday just to boo him. He needs a dose of reality.

I think he would get booed for sure. He disrespected the Suns organization. Said he does not trust them, they are going in the wrong direction, and no else besides him made sacrifices.

really can't see anyway Dragic resigns after all this so I agree, dealing him now is most likely best(unless we're getting really terrible offers and we might as well just keep the cap space instead of mediocre filler). Yeah Monroe seems to me who we'd be looking at given the fact we need a big. think it'll go down to the wire though
