Seems like a major tool.

The most frequently repeated comments of the last year likely involve:

- "we can't trade with the Nets"
- "Larry is still an elite rim protector"
- "If only Knight could dribble with his head up"
- "Ersan has no positive trade value"
- "Woelfel is a hack"

I always disagreed about the Ersan one...

Lawson really only makes sense as a Knight replacement long-term, not a Knight complement. No chance that backcourt can play together. That îsnt to say Lawson isn't without risks either.

Well he barely plays, and when he does he looks lost. If his jumper isn't falling he's useless everything else about his game is painful to watch.

The dumbest thing about a Knight and [insert point guard trade target] backcourt is Middleton is a massively better player than Knight at SG.

You are assuming his minutes at sg will be cut. A three man rotation of 32 works at those positions.

We toss around rotations like that all the time, and it never happens. It's especially true with Kidd, a coach who apparently loves a deep bench.

I can only assume if they trade for Lawson then they are fine with letting Knight or Middleton walk. Considering there has been rumours of teams offering for Knight I can only hope we nab Lawson and then a Knight trade quickly follows. I find this highly, highly hard to believe thought but hey at least we don't have long to wait.

18 hours is roughly another 200 pages. It's going to be a long night.

The question should be, who are you more comfortable paying $22 mil next year Lawson/Middleton or knight/Middleton?

If the plan is to overpay Knight I'd much rather acquire Lawson and let Knight walk. Lawson is a better player.

Agree with Luke on this but I am quite fearful that we would pay Ty and Brandon and let Middleton walk. That would be an absolute disaster.

When trades and stuff go down it normally seems to be around this time. I'm eagerly awaiting something but doubt it.

Yup. Lawson is also locked into a very reasonable deal whereas Knight will get more $ as a RFA and provide less impact.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

That where I'm at, I think that the bucks could be competing for top seed in the east come 16/17 and Lawson is just a better PG for Middleton and Parker....besides, I truly think we will draft a pg this draft(hopefully grant or jones) and he will take over for Lawson when his contract us done.........plus when Lawson is off the books, Giannis extension kicks in.
