Well then I would love him again. :D But right now, not so much.

I guess that's it then.

If I'm McDonough, I probably proceed as if he's not on the team anymore. Still play him though.
Deal Thomas so we can go to a more traditional guard rotation. Re-sign Green.
This summer, put out our best offer to Dragic but don't wait for him to sign others (Matthews?).

I've been calm about the whole situation but I'll say this, if we wind up with nothing, then Dragic really did screw us. He and Duffy made this as loud as can be and left us with nothing at all. I've lost respect for him for allowing this to happen. That's how you get fans to turn on you.

And for comparison purposes, this is NOTHING like the Bledsoe ordeal. He was a RFA and worked the system until he got a fair offer. Goran has gone on record and ripped the Suns 'behind the scenes' brass which will make other players cautious about coming here.
He demanded a trade days before the deadline giving us little time to make something happen.

Just passing by...

I sure hope so, but I have lowered my expectations (or trying to). I wouldn't mind giving up McBob as well, too bad he is hurt this year. McBob would fit very well with the Suns, he is a white Diaw who hustles and was easily our 2nd best play maker (our guards suck that much). Can shoot the 3, hustle, nice hair. Whats funny is his injury occurred during the end of the Suns game when Heat were in Phoenix. He was clutch too... Ugh he was just finding his way into our team.

Also I figured teams may be reluctant to even get the other Dragic... Then I remembered http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/23 ... icks-Magic

Miami makes sense only its our assets that are the issue.

Our only young assets are James Ennis (lol), and Napier (PG tho). Doubt that entices Suns.

It is the final countdown, I will not be surprised if only Isaiah is traded today. At the end of the day we can always work a sign and trade or improve our chemistry an resign him.
I want to trade him if the return value is good, not great, but at least one very good player or pick.

Also, guys, enough with trade ideas that send Goran to the Bucks or Magic or any other team we know is 100% not happening.

Most fans have probably caved at this point. A deal involving Deng might be enough (for vet leadership purposes). I think the Suns know they will not get any value (otherwise a deal probably would have gotten done yesterday)

Deng is too old to grow with our core. We'd be better off trading Goran for nearly any decent young player.

The Phoenix Suns are operating under the belief that guard Goran Dragic could be persuaded to accept a five-year contract elsewhere, thus are pursuing trades with asset-rich teams outside of his preferred list of destinations, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

For Dragic, the Suns are pursuing packages that include a young player with significant potential and a first-round draft pick or two first-round picks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The Suns signed Goran's brother, Zoran, to a two-year contract last summer, largely as a way to make the Suns star more comfortable with re-signing with the organization. With Goran wanting out, the Suns are trying to attach Zoran to trade packages with him, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

Dragic appears far more concerned with the fit with his future team, about being on a playoff contender or — in the cases of the Lakers and Knicks — about helping one of the league's flagship franchises get back on its feet. The tricky part, of course, is that the teams on Dragic's list don't appear to have the kinds of assets (promising young player and a first-round pick) that the Suns want, while some teams that are not on his list clearly do.

Does Brian Windhorst put caffeine spread on his cheeseburgers to stay up tonight?

Long time lurker here. Check out my profile for a laugh if you need a pick-me-up. I have been furiously refreshing this thread all day and I'm very entertained.

I cannot even begin to understand what is going on with our FO. Apparently Dragic feels that they have slighted him somehow. Plus what that Doc Rocket guy is saying about 2:30AM makes me really nervous.

Tomorrow will be legendary and will forever be remembered in SUNS history. Which probably means nothing will happen and no one will be moved

Last tweet I read said that Celtics were out after the Dragic Press Conference. Not interested in IT either.
