Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
Just give him to a random non-big market for a second rounder or two. Get this prick off the team.
Don't keep him at the expense of the young guys and maybe the most awkward half of a season ever.

If Miami, LA, and New York are the only teams he will re-sign with that honestly means one thing...his Slovenian supermodel of a wife wears the pants in the relationship. 3 great cities to boost your career as a fashion model. That's the only thing that makes sense because from a basketball standpoint 2 out of the 3 are just flat out awful and on all 3 teams he won't be the center of attention like he wants to be.

The Bulls forum seems to think we might have some interest in Gerald Green to shore up our wing depth. Considering our FO's stinginess though, I don't think we have enough to offer for a trade. I'm guessing they see Rose, Butler, Noah, Gasol, Gibson, McDermott and Mirotic as untouchable, and they're probably unwilling to include a first round pick too.
So that leaves mostly scraps: Tony Snell (who's played well the last month but has been miserable the rest of his career so far), Aaron Brooks (but you don't need another undersized scoring PG right?), Etwaun Moore (3rd string combo guard), Nazr Mohammed and Cam Bairstow (fringe NBA bigs). They could include 2nd rounders, but GarPax hate giving away picks usually.
So we have no shot at trading for Green, right ?
To get salaries to work it would have to be Snell, Bairstow, and Mohammed. As much as I'd love to see my UNM boys on the Suns, I think there's probably no way without a late first. Even then I doubt it would get done... Suns need to be consolidating and this is kind of going in the opposite direction.

I do not like how Goran and his agent has handled this situation. Keep your damn mouth quiet.

Sarver mad at Goran ? hahaha... he's just mad period. Goran is an easy outlet. He's the only one with in arm's length.
All Bobby is doing is adding to the dog pile of doubt from the players. He'll calm down when the buzzer is near. Trade GD for monkey nuts for all I care. The damage is done, the cat is way out the bag now. accommodate anyone who wants out and rebuild (again)
Oh, and good luck with ticket sales now. That 'Monster' is turning ugly.
(insert photo shopped hydra with Dragic, Thomas, Bledsoe, Plum, Tucker, CusMo, and Green heads)

Those are 3 great cities to live in. All three need PGs and all three have shown the willingness to do anything it takes to win. A team of Randal, a top 2-3 pick, a free agent or two, and kobe???? Seems more promising than the 3 ring ****. circus we have here.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain ?
Dragic's untimely melt down looks like just a tip of an icebergish problem

I've been told from a Bulls source that we really want to add Gerald Green. However, I doubt it happens unless he's available cheaply, otherwise Bulls will work the buyout market.

Or even deal him to LA for their trash, hope he puts them out of the bottom five, and then watch him take up their cap space with a 5 year $100 million contract. LA won't go anywhere with Dragic other than mediocrity, I don't know why they want him. NYK at least has Melo to pair him with. Melo+Dragic is a playoff team, Melo+Dragic+Deandre Jordan/Marc Gasol/Monroe (all free agents) might win the east. On the other hand Dragic+Kobe=no playoffs. Dragic+Kobe+Jordan/Gasol/Monroe is maybe an 8th seed in the west. Kobe's time is done, LA needs to accept that and build towards the future, not try one last push with Kobe which signing Dragic would mean.

Do we know for certain that LA actually does want Dragic? All we really have to go on is a rumor that they are going to offer him a max deal nex summer. I don't think that means anything at this point with all the smoke and mirrors.

Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
My ideal scenario, by 1 pm we trade Thomas to Boston, Dragics to Sac, and Green to Chi. Then we can see what we have with Warren, Ennis, Goodwin the rest of the season.

Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
Anyone have any interest in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope? He's the only attractive piece on Detroit, and based on what LukasBMW said earlier about their interest in IT......
