Is it gonna be a thing now to compare the pre-allstar break 1 seed to the 13-14 Pacers?

Didn't the Pacers secure the #1 seed, win their division and proceed all the way to the Conference Finals last year?

Are we saying THAT'S a bad season, now?

It certainly sounds better than getting ousted in the 1st round by a Brooklyn team that was featuring a cast straight from the nursing home.

Pacers had a huge lead on the rest of the conference and then their players **** on themselves. Your lead is not as big and the rest of the conference is tougher than last year so no your season won't end like last years Pacers season but it could end worse.

Yeah...I make a motion we close this thread, acknowledge this guy as clearly attempting to inflame the fanbase (obviously) and proceed with our lives as if he never existed.

All in Favor?

We were without our best player and suffered a long string of injuries throughout the year. Against the #1 seed and eventual Eastern Conference runner-up, we were up by 5 with 3 minutes left in game 6 before choking it away. Meanwhile, Toronto was fully healthy and busy losing to a group of players who's prime ended 3 years ago. Toronto needs to get away from that iso-heavy offense combined with mediocre defense if they are going to get out of pretender status.

Just completely wrong. The Pacers never had anywhere near a 7+ game lead over Miami.
