Pat Riley & Phil Jackson both trying to fleece Ryan McD.

Quite the situation for a 2nd year GM to be in with two HOF Sharks breathing down your neck.

LOL

Ramona Shelburne ✔ @ramonashelburne
Word from Phx is that owner has dug in & told folks he won't trade Dragic. That, of course, wouldn't be the 1st time an owner dug in.

But by trading him to the Lakers for nothing right now, there's still the hope he gets them some wins and gets us our 6th pick.

I can see Dragic walking into Sarver's office and explaining why he should be traded ala Nash.

It should be no mystery to Robert Sarver as to why he has a reputation for being difficult.

Honestly, think of the message that sends to the rest of the league.

meh, i dont blame him. as a fan i'm disappointed that dragic flamed on the FO. as an owner i'd be pissed.

sometimes it's the right time to me unreasonable and say, 'you can't make me.'

dragic: "trade me."

sarver: "you can't make me."

classic. the trade deadline is almost as entertaining as a competition as the actual bball games.

I think these reports that Sarver won't trade Dragic are being leaked by the Suns so they can have a tiny bit of leverage.

If they are true though I will lose my mind

Yes, let's hate on Sarver for not caving to these weak offers.

This really is a soap opera.

This is like if Robert cheated on Dragic, Dragic burned his house down and filed for divorce, and now Robert is refusing to sign the papers.

Amazing.

i dunno, the miami deal sounds good enough for me. I got no beef against isiah thomas, but its probably be best if we trade him as well, let eric bledsoe know we are going all in with him. There was also a rumor that Clippers were looking at G Green at the tune of a first round pick, so i hope McD has a guy on helping the Clips find a suitor. Then there is Plumlee, who has some interest from teams. I'd ask real high for him to see if anyone bites, and if we don't get a nibble then wait until off season

I'm not saying i disagree with you, but i wouldn't mind sending the message, "Don't **** flame this franchise in the media two days before the trade deadline and don't leak a list of preferred destinations that makes it impossible to get anything in return for you."

if the suns did something unfair to Dragic, then they did it behind closed doors so I'm not aware of it. Maybe dragic is just going 'eye for an eye.' i dunno but i do know that Dragic went for the eyes.

A reason getting another lottery pick isn't the worst thing.

Every draft, even the 2003, is a crapshoot from the 10th pick and up.

Every draft is a crapshoot.
2003- Darko Milicic, TJ Ford, Michael Sweetney taken top 10
2004- Rafael Arujo, Shaun Livingston, Josh Childress taken top 10
2005- Marvin Williams, Martell Webster, Charlie Villanueva, Channing Frye, Ike Diogu taken Top 10
2006- Andrea Bargnani, Adam Morrison, Tyrus Thomas, Shelden Williams, Randy Foye, Patrick O'Bryant taken top 10
2007- Greg Oden, Corey Brewer, Yi Jianlian, Jeff Green, Brandan Wright taken top 10
2008- Michael Beasley, Danilo Galinari, Joe Alexander, DJ Augustin taken top 10
2009-Hasheem Thabeet, Johnny Flynn, Jordan Hill taken top 10
2010-Evan Turner, Wes Johnson, Al Farouq Aminu taken top 10.

I think you get my point.

Robert probably feels the most hurt out of anybody in the organization. He's the dude who personally signed Goran in the damn parking garage while Babby and Blanks were going after Felton. I can see why he's in "IDGAF" mode right now.
