Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
One thing to keep in mind is that it isn't just IT who is hindering Dragic's touches or whatever....both Marcus Morris and Gerald Green have been bigger ball hogs than they were last season as well.
Whenever a pass gets to either of them, they shoot the ball or turn it over, they'll never pass it.
If Sarver is adamant about trading IT and keeping Goran, then one or both of Marcus and Green will have to be traded as well imo. Preferably Marcus since we have Warren at his position. If Kieff starts bi***ching, oh well give him a Kleenex.

Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
things will never be the same between Dragic and Suns. If we keep him its possible he goes full selfish mode, and a locker room cancer. since Dragic has essentially given up on his teammates.

You won't get anything done. Just go have an early happy hour to either celebrate or console yourself. Thank god I retired last year.

Maybe Dragic is mad Sarver didn't treat him to dinner like he did with Tucker?

Happy to hear Sarver's stance actually. But then again, I bet Lakers GM thought the same thing with Pau last season, and that bit em in the ass didn't it?

Look at that video from yesterday. Does it really look like we're dealing with a guy who is open to re-signing here, no matter how much money we throw at him?
Guy is gone.
Guy is gone.

I'd love to be at the pub right now. Not at the office.

Keep Dragic, move IT. Take Dragic out to dinner, admit you @#$%ed up, and tell him how much you love him. Invite the entire city. Dragic has now had half a season of lower usage to recuperate after playing full throttle all last season and the last two summers. PUT THE BALL BACK IN HIS HANDS AND LET HIM GO NUTS. Let him play the market this offseason and add another year to whatever offer sheet he gets.

Re: Official Trade Thread: How to Trade Your Dragon
What I don't understand in this whole fiasco is if Dragic and his agent have told the front office throughout the season that they would like to change the mantra of how we utilize our team/offense.. what was the front offices response? I know that the team comes before a single player but if they knew about it from the first day it was announced why let it continue to boil? Did the FO think that Dragic wouldn't do what he's doing right now, asking to be traded? In all honestly, Dragic called the FO's bluff. He seems like a good person/teammate (we never will know what happen mid-season with the locker room dilemma) -- and the FO must of said they would make a change if the right deal would come along? Maybe the right deal never came along and this is the repercussion we now see from not doing anything..
I highly doubt Zoran not getting any playing time has anything to do with it. This is the NBA. This is a business. If he was any good, he would of seen some minutes for damn sure. There is a difference in the level of FIBA/NBA when it comes to skill wise. It takes these guys a good year to get used to the speed of the game and everything that goes along with it. Just because you left a European team/contract for X amount of years, doesn't give you the right to play right away. The work should show up in the practice court, etc.

unless i'm looking at an icon of a holy saint and martyr, then... Yes. most of the time when i look at a guy it looks like i'm dealing w someone who is open to doing whatever it takes for more money.

Then the question becomes the same question it was before Dragic's demand: is he worth what you'd have to pay him to keep him?
