OKC is trading their slightly above average backup PG for an All-Star.

We are contemplating trading the franchise player for THJ.

I want out.

I think you guys should've taken the Mia 2 1st rd offer if that was a legit offer and not some fake leak.

You don't ask for a trade with your team in the 8th spot and fighting for its first playoff berth in years.
As much as I hate Sarver Dragic is a douche for pulling this off mid season.

I've seldom heard a player sound more intent on leaving than Dragic sounded yesterday. Did not waiver/pull-punches in expressing that desire

unless i'm looking at an icon of a holy saint and martyr, then... Yes. most of the time when i look at a guy it looks like i'm dealing w someone who is open to doing whatever it takes for more money.

Then the question becomes the same question it was before Dragic's demand: is he worth what you'd have to pay him to keep him?

and how much do we have to pay him to keep him?

if (if if if) the answer is, 'more than anyone else,' then yah prolly and it's not worth nothing to have the right to find out in a few months. which is what sarver would keep if he's not traded.

if the answer is 5 yr 20 million... then... yah maybe. the TV contract revenue and all that. i'd consider it. he's an all-nba player.

Why can't goran just be happy with going to a loser team like when we traded JJ to the hawks for Diaw and a 1st. The hawks were hot garbo then lol

Dear Robert Sarver,

You shouldn't negotiate as if you have leverage. You don't. If you don't trade Goran, he leaves next year for your rival, and you get nothing in return.

Please don't **** the fans.

Sincerely,

cosmofizzo

IF it wasn't 0 degrees out, I'd drive to MSP and see who get off the plane.

If reports are accurate, Suns are playing a dangerous game of trying to keep a player who sounded, to me at least, very intent on leaving.

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 10m 10 minutes ago
Listening to Dragic speak yesterday, I got the sense that the relationship was irreparable, and he had absolutely made up his mind to leave.

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 9m 9 minutes ago
Dragic was even asked if trading IT would make any difference, and he responded it wouldn't. He said, "I've made up my mind".

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 6m 6 minutes ago
Yes, Suns could still have an opportunity to S&T him at end of season, but even that could go awry, especially if situation gets contentious

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 1m 1 minute ago
Of course, this could still be about Suns trying to re-gain some leverage in the final hour...For the team's sake, I hope that's what it is.

Dragic was adamant about no longer wanting to play for Suns. Keeping him could further disrupt chemistry & cause further issues. Dangerous.

Really, didn't Kobe sound convincing in his rant years ago Sean Sullivan?

I cant fathom a team that would throw 20M at him, so yes, he is worth what it will take to keep him. Prob 15-17M. 5Y/85-90M?
