Re: Sessions Traded for Andre Miller
Thrilled.
Miller is still savvy. He expires. He is a guy who can do wonders on a roster no matter what he is doing.
Perfect type of guy to have at the end of his career. Maybe he wants one more season? Takes the vet minimum and gives us some leadership off the bench.
Maybe he wants to get into coaching down the road, he is setup here with Karl.
I am very happy.

Serviceable expiring for someone who's having the worst season of their career. Pretty much no downside at all, and it's a much better situation for Sessions as well, who has been nothing but professional during his short, but tumultuous tenure with us.

Re: Sessions Traded for Andre Miller
Andre Miller has a 3.1 assist/TO ratio, while Sessions has a 1.8 assist/TO ratio. He might help us in that area, but Sacramento is a much different spacing/basketball situation than Washington.

Yes, overall this is a good trade.

Thank god the Sessions session has expired and he's gone. What a nightmare signing he was.

Re: Sessions Traded for Andre Miller
Really glad the team was willing to take on some extra money this year to get a little more money this offseason. Wonder if Miller will stay because of Karl or want to be bought out?
Also, this might be a good thing for Sessions too. I think the Wiz will allow him to play a little more SG and he can play with both Beal and Wall. Plus their team is very guard oriented and guard initiated in the paint so that's perfect for him.

Apparently Miller already lives in Sacramento(?) and has a lot of ties here. Has always wanted to play here, according to Twitter.

Sounding even better, he is top 10 in career assists...
Lots of experience....
That coaching gig down the road maybe too if he is interested, Pete may have finally knocked one out of the park.

This gets very unknocked out of the park when he shoots his cap wad at Jeremy Lin, Goran Dragic, or Reggie Jackson this summer.

I sure hope not.
Let me enjoy this one for a bit, but who knows if we are done today even.

I'm happy about this too. Not great on talent, but one of the highest BBIQ players ever. He was awesome as a backup for Brandon Roy. I'm also a little surprised at the overall enthusiasm from the board considering how little interest there has been for either trading for or signing him in the past. But this is probably more due to getting rid of Sessions.

With this deal the Kings just gave themselves that last little bump in cap space that separates them from MLE teams. That's the difference that it may take to sway a player away from signing a MLE vs. coming to Sac. This is a great move if they use the money correctly. That could be the difference that plucks Josh Smith away from other teams. Never know. The same Josh Smith who by the way just happens to be having a miraculous turnaround since being dealt. Go figure.

I wanted him last year, and proposed a Williams swap before we signed Sessions I'm pretty sure before too either here or trades forum.
I know there was another fella or two around that wanted him as well.

Wizards fan lurking ...
Dayyyummm.

I hope he was injured, sand bagging, otherwise distracted, etc. He's got to be better than his Kings' stats suggest.
