What's the max money the Bulls can offer Jimmy Butler?

We can't, without moving two other players.

Goran, Zoran and Plumlee

Flip Cole to Wizards as per wiretap they are interested... For a second rounder.

Buyout Anderson so he can sign with a contender.

Keep McRoberts, he is injured so won't affect this years team. If the Morris issues continues, Suns have McRoberts as safety net.

That could work, but then we'd have to keep Birdman, because we are weak at center in that deal.

He wants out, I guess.

Goran handled this the wrong way. Not only is it going to hurt us, it's hurt his reputation as well. Play the rest of the **** season, get us in the playoffs( something he hasn't done once as a starter) and shut your **** mouth.

What would you do if McD trolled us all and traded Bledsoe instead of Goran or IT?

So can someone confirm my understanding of Bird Rights to a team like LAL - say they want to sign Goran in the offseason, they will have to use their cap space. However, if they have his bird rights, they can use the cap space to sign another star first, and then use said Bird Rights to lock up Dragic as well? Is that how it works?

If so, trading for him in the above scenario would, for all intents & purposes give them the equivalent value of an additional $15-20m of cap space right?

That's gotta be worth something, and a big difference to just "signing him as a FA"...?

Considering an old shoe would be better than the Knicks offer, yes, the Heat offer is the best offer so far

Lakers FO probably sitting arrogant thinking they win in the end.

Move Dragic out east and continue to hammer Lakers for the next 2-3 years.

Basically you can go over the cap to sign a FA if you own their Bird Rights, however there is a cap hold. But yes, it allows you to spend up to the cap, and then resign the FA.

Plum wants out.

Dragic is taking a dump on us.

Morrii seem to have chemistry issues.

We've totally lost the locker room.

Dragic's cap hold would be $15M ... twice his salary ... I think.

It depends on Goran's cap hold, it may not be the max, but they will retain his hold on book, restricting their ability to use all of their space, until they sign him to a contract - though you're correct in the sense that they should wait to sing him, as his contract will undoubtedly be larger than his cap hold.

Even garbage expiring(Terry/Papa) + Capela + NYK 2nd from Houston would be better than that crap from the Heat.

Trading the drama queen may shore up the locker room issues.
