Two bad we couldn't have taken Mcghee and the 1st in exchange for some lesser salary. I feel like he could fit in and be C on this team in a minimal role of rebounder/big defensive body with low expectations. I'll admit I haven't seen him play at all this year. Has he been that awful?

We didn't have the cap space to absorb his deal.

The chemistry on this team has been alarmingly good all season so I am okay with them not making a move. Wanted to add a guy like Kanter, but not if it meant giving away more than 1 player. Look what happened to Indy last year with the whole Granger situation... It really shook their locker room.

I think Wade is on his way out as a great player, so a Dragic/Bosh and not much else roster doesn't scare me a ton. You have been talking about Dragic like he's prime Big O. I mean, Miami isn't even over .500 right now and it's not like there is any upside there beyond Whiteside.

dragic gave the suns relevenecy when they were supposed to be the worst team in the league... imagine what hes going to do with that lineup... especially when they start acting serious in the playoffs.

I can't see the Suns taking the Heat's pile of garbage for Dragic, they are shopping for more or they keep him.

Look at all this late movement. They have to extend the deadline to the end of the night in the future. More deals would get done that way and that's what the league should prefer. They get more attention and multiple f.o.'s aren't handcuffed.

Or all of this would be happening an hour before whenever the new deadline is. It's human nature.

Pretty much, GM's talk trades 24/7/365, nothing would change if the deadline was some other time.
