The Sixers are just stockpiling picks and hoping a once in a generation talent comes by and saves them. They have no idea what they're doing. This is what separates well run organizations with the bad.
Or they're stockpiling picks so that they can trade for a generational talent when one becomes available, although obviously if one simply comes along via the draft and saves us than that would be preferable.
What generational talent would ever be interested in committing to a team as fickle as Philly? They have absolutely no capacity for loyalty.
You don't bail on draft picks so early. Its a sign of a bad and impatient GM who will never have the patience to develop players and build a team.
Look at the successful teams around the league - GS, Memphis, Atlanta. Do you think Hinkie would have the patience to build any of those teams?
They're lucky they have Brown, because Hinkie is doing a great job creating an atmosphere of absolute instability.
