Cleveland Cavaliers @ Washington Wizards - 8PM on CSN and ESPN

Post#2 » by Kanyewest » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:10 pm

Ramon Sessions makes his debut. I wish this guy would comeback and I might be willing to spend $100 a ticket.

Washington is 4-6 in their last 10 games. LeBron James and the Cavs are 8-2.

John Wall looks to prove that he is still the best point guard in the conference against Kyrie Irving who did drop 55 points a couple weeks ago against the Trail-Blazers

James and Paul Pierce renew their rivalry. It is nice that the Wizards actually have someone who has beaten LeBron in a 7 game series.

The key to the game could be the Gortat and Mozgov matchup.

Hopefully, Nene does this to LeBron again

Excited for this one - my brother is coming down from Balti to watch it with me. Hope the zards put on a good show for him.

I am only pretty sure one thing in this game and that is Wall will ball. I think many people think he played great in the 1st half and is a bottom 10 MVP canidate but I think his 2nd half will make his 1st half look like JV. People said during th stretch that his FG% went way up that it was because he took less shots and that it was ok for him to aver the 14ppg that he did for that long stretch but I felt that his FG% went up just because he became an overall much better player and that he could still be highly efficient while scoring atleast 18 and even more. I felt that even if it did start becasue of him doing less, he had grown from that and can do more while still being efficient and sure enough he started to do that.

I think that continues and even more. I think he will without a doubt be seen asthe best pg in the East by the end of the season and will be without a doubt in everyone's top 5. Alot of people will have him top 3 with WB & Curry. I always take up for Wall from last year by saying that I truly believe he hit the wall like Gil did in his 1st year in the playoffs. It was the first year Gil really blewup, we had a ton of injuries during that season, gil had to do so much and had the pressure to carry us to the playoffs for the 1st time in forever that he had nothing left in that post season. It was all the same for Wall. People keep talking about the playoffs but he fell off in April right before the playoffs. He was just dead.

However, people forget that for the whole 2 months prior Wall averaged 20 & 9 on 45% shooting while being the #1 three point shooter in the whole league for much of that stretch. People forget that. He carried us to the playoffs and it burned him out. He will blowup again and even on a higher level. Also Gil was a beast after that in the playoffs and I expect the same from Wall. I would love to see Witt take advantage of matchups more though and feature more of Wall in the post when a lil guy or non defensive guy is on him

really need a win tonight against the Cadavaliers to set the tone for the stretch run say nothing
of the importance of every game wrt standings in the east.

I'll be there tonight! Didn't sell my tickets. Did sell my GSW tickets though. Weeknight game.

I guess I'm not "many people." :D

I think Wall played well in the first 50+ games of the season, but I don't think he's a fringe MVP candidate. I'd like to see him really step up his game in the homestretch of the season. Specifically, I'd like to see him value possessions more and improve his shot selection. He's at his career low in at-rim attempts (as a percentage of FGA), and he's tied for his career low in FTA per possession.

ps - we could really use an OP sighting tonight, especially defensively. Can't have JR going off tonight.

No way Sessions available to play tonight, and even if he was Wittless aint playing him. Look what he did to Gortat when he first came aboard. I still remember that Detroit game where he trotted out Booker at the 4 against Drummond and Monroe and then proceed to watch us get raped before he finally put Gortat in the game.

God, I hate Randy as a coach. :banghead:

I hope that The Truth has used this time off to recharge his batteries. Porter needs to step it up.

just realized I meant to ask what the story on Love was. I note he's not in starting lineup.
But I also note he's not on the 'out' list.

Now I am remembering something about an injury recently but I'm surprised the op didn't mention
anything one way or the other.

My bad. He's back tonight. I just forgot to list him in the starting lineup.

Good luck wiz fans. Could be a big game standings wise and the Cavs need this one so I think you'll get our best shot

Sweet Otto is starting! Hopefully he can stay in front of JR and run him off the 3pt line.

I didn't think we'd win this, but this will be a blowout unless they actually start trying defensively. This is what happens when you rely on old guys predominantly :/
