Pretty sure RJ's numbers while starting >>> DJs numbers while starting. And in a more competitive conference, on a team missing 2 superstars.

In summary RJ>>>DJ

dig a little deeper and you'll find that they weren't. There was an article posted a few pages back about it.

Reggie: 20.2 ppg, 7.8 apg, 5.2 rpg
DJ: 18.7 ppg, 7.8 apg, 2.3 rpg

If you only look at box-score stats you're going to have a VERY cursory understanding of what was actually happening.

And yet that's all OKC fans are going off of to boost Singler/Augustin.

None of us even think Singler will get significant playing time. Augustin will be the third or 4th guy off our bench. We like what they're bringing to the team because they can shoot 3's, Kanter was the biggest prize.

#1 according to Ellis.

****. This is the 4th player to make the mistake... Iverson, T-Mac, Dre and now him... Hey little boy, study your team a little, this is Chauncey's number. No one should be able to wear it anymore. I'm already disappointed...

I'd rather he chose a different number. Only other single digit numbers available currently would be #3 and #6. Most recently worn by Stuckey and Josh Smith, both worn by Ben Wallace in the past. Ben's #3 might go in the rafters some day as well for that matter. So #6 was the only single digit possibility if he was playing it safe and wanted a single digit.

He should choose a different number and carve out his own identity if his goal is to be the PG of the future for us. #1 should be off limits, it''ll be retired. The only question is when.

Should've been #6 to erase Smith from team history

He should take Durants #

That would be hilarious.

#1 is available. Just saying.

EDIT: Apparently he is taking #1.

T-Mac wore #1 on every team where it was available. Drummond picked #1 because that's what his mom told him when he asked her what number should he wear. No problem with RJ rocking it, we've had some terrific players rep that number.

Yeah, T-Mac taking #1 wasn't bad, AI was whatever, and Dre was just being Dre.

It's just a number, until they officially retire it, it's all up for grabs.
