I guess Booz ain't getting no run tonight. Hope he understands these last 29 games are about seeing who needs to stay or work giving a contract to next season. Last season we didn't do this, so this should tell fans that this is the last season of "Tankville" airing on your TV's.

The thing I think about this all is that the Lakers need to take a stance on this with BOOZ

A - you want to stay here next year? Cool here's the room exception for two years so you can be a good vet teacher and solid role player

B - do you want to play in the playoffs? If so, let us waive you, and you thank us for being a good franchise in the press. We can use the public image boost and you can chase a ring. It's a win-win.

But don't bench the guy to bench him, especially if he has no plans of returning. We got to be careful with this pr stuff

The thing is we can't waive him because he was acquired through amnesty. But I agree that we do have to inform him of what's going on. I think Booz can help as a vet off the bench that can score double figures, plus he'll preserve himself in the long run by playing lesser minutes.

We'll be a bit more decent next season if smart moves are made on better players.
