Free Agents, Buyouts, D-League, China- The Quest for a Big Man

Post#1 » by Barkley6 » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:43 pm

So, when the dust settled after the trade deadline, the Suns found that their roster balance hadn't been restored as promised. While it's not nearly as point guard heavy (shipped out 3), it is now incredibly wing heavy (added 2 SGs and possible a SF in Granger).

The team also shipped out one of it's only big men in C Miles Plumlee, meaning the Suns only have 3 true big men.

Clearly, the Suns will be looking in the coming days to bolster their front court depth, because with Alex Len's injury history, the prospect of Brandan Wright playing 48 minutes a night is not exactly an enticing one.

So, who would you like to see the Suns take on as a backup big? (You can select 2)

Well, Earl Barron just signed to a 10-day. So I guess we have at least some of our answer.

Did you seriously have Andrew Bynum on the poll?

It was more a joke than anything. But we ARE kind of desperate for some size.

I think I'm a better option for the Suns than Bynum. I'm more than happy to sign a contract similar to one they gave Zoran :D
