With all the bad trades and the casual fans not paying attention, sometimes you forget how good this core is, last 3 games is a good reminder of it.

I'll say one thing about DJ's free throw shooting, I could live without having to hear again that he should shoot them better, that he has to learn etc. what sense do those sort of comments make? He is obviously not able to improve and the hacking is gonna continue to happen until/if they change the rules. It's not like he refuses to improve or he's lazy or whatever, it'd be nice if his game was perfect but it's not, it is what it is. We gotta live with it and stop complaining. Anyway, once again the hacking doesn't work and the hacked team wins, another one for the column. I'd like to see actual statistics, but I remember very few examples of the hacking team actually winning the game.

Jamal was efficient tonight. Good job. Big Baby was great off the bench too. Nice team win.

He looked like the guy we want him to be. A guy who hits shots and draws attention from defenses and creates for others.

maybe the ASB will make him not be a "net zero" (u see me working Ned) player.

I'm sure it can work. But at the moment…if a team wants to take itself out of an offensive rhythm (particularly the Spurs) and put the BIGGEST FLOPPERS IN THE NBA in the bonus, I can deal with it.

when it comes to bad free throw shooters, i'm pretty much resigned to the fact that they'll always be bad. and jfc do these people think they can just turn it on? or that they don't practice? mike and ralph always talk about how much time he spends practicing and if you just friggin watch dj's shot, it LOOKS ok mechanically.

the only thing i can really complain about is the really bad shooters not seeing if they can hire rick barry for a day to try his style out. yeah it looks dumb but it just might be the magic elixir for some guys.

I didn't watch the game but saw this morning that we had won. I wasn't sure if we would pull this one off, but it's obvious that DJ is going off in Blake's absence. The good thing is that I won't have to be too worried about us since we've won 3 in a row with out Blake.

as of the highlighted comment, its sad to say it but you just might be right. some guys, just no matter how much they work at it, don't ever get the hang of certain tasks. seeing how good of a form DJ now has, and the natural arc on the ball, he doesn't miss left or right but always too long or too short. that just maybe an innate thing. I still hope its more of a psychological thing and he eventually works through it though.

dj would become my favorite player if we swallowed his pride and went to an underhand free throw. They say big guys have a had time with free throws due to the size of their hands. I wonder if big hands would some how help the underhand free throw. he would be willing to try anything at this point.
