Wouldn't be surprised if he did. But at this point he's desperately tryna salvage something. He's prolly losing faith in himself.

Give him MKG's drive and motor and he would be unreal. He needs to get his **** in order.

I was shocked that Cliff gave him all those minutes. I think Cliff is a believer that Lance can turn his season around.

I would say the Marv signing is biting us just as much. I honestly think Lance will be tradeable next year as a expiring but I know ain't no team taking on Marv even as a expiring without giving us some crap they desperately don't want.

On topic tho. Lance needs to be benched. His contract didn't hinder us from signing somebody else big money that we wanted so I don't feel like it's biting us in the ass except for when we play him. His signing was a last ditch effort to try to salvage the lackluster signings of Marv and Roberts. I have no regrets about the Lance signing but I am disappointed that he's been so bad.

We will probably have to give up a first or young player to dump Marv.

At this point in time I would be content with just giving him MKG's jumpshot.

How bad is it when you want someone to have MKG's J because it's more reliable than the one they have.

Lol. Good post. MKG has literally been a better shooter from mid range than Lance this season. If you would have told me that 6 months ago I would have told you that you were crazy. Just a massive disappointment.

You've got to think that when/if Kemba comes back that will be the last we see of Lance. Between Kemba and Mo we don't really need any other ball handlers on the court. That means Lance would have to return to the Sg/SF position and, honestly, as bad as some of those guys have been, Lance would be even worse in the catch and shoot role.

  :nonono: :nonono: :banghead: :banghead: These comments are really hatefull... My God doesn't anybody remember earlier in the season when Lance was putting up 12-6-6-2 nights...I agree he's best off the bench...His defense is lockdown.
I hope they split the minutes between Hendo and him at SG until Kemba comes back then play Kemba at 2 and Mo at the point.. Mo and Roberts and Lance should be out front handling the ball. Use Kemba at SG like Iverson was used and he will put up 30 a night..
Start with
Mo Kemba MKG Williams Al
Backup with
Lance,Roberts,Hendo,Cody Biz Let Lance guard the big PG's if Mo is having problems.
Sub with PJ,Noah,Maxiell,Daniels,JT as situation dictates.

Bottom line, with lineups above..... Lance can be very valuable to our playoff chances

So lets change this Subject post to just "The Lance Stephenson Thread III" before we have another Ben Gordon on our hands in Charlotte. AND give the guy some positive feedback...We need to go 17-12 these last 29 games to make 7-8th seed

If Mo is going to play more with Kemba, Hendo would see a decrease in his minutes unless Hendo is moved to SF in place of MKG
It has been written...

I remember. He was stinking it up then too. Dare I say empty stats but he might be one if those players. For a guy that lead the league in triple doubles his efficiency numbers last year wasn't even above average. Empty stats.

A salient point that sadly crossed my mind as well. It doesn't look like it has a chance at all when it leaves his hand. :noway:

Somehow this game was an improvement despite him only shooting 5 - 15 from the field. I think it's because he looked more committed on defense.

He is our best drive and kick player. Unfortunately half the people he kicks to cannot shoot and neither can he.

:o  It's really too bad the fans cannot get behind Lance because he DOES have upside potential . Play him with the 3 guys from Utah and MKG..Defense would be better and MO and AL would be able to concentrate on pick and roll with MWILL shooting 3s and Lance and MKG boarding.

:o :o 27 mil is allot of money for a benched player..Lances strengths are his ability to find the open man on offense and guarding the other teams best 2/3 on defense. Put him out front at half court and run Mo around like Iverson..... either Mo will get 30-50points or Lance will have 15 assists and our paint points will double.. Think about it?
