On the bright side, Archie looked pretty good offensively

Not with that amount of time left to Bulls I wouldn't.

So if he runs the clock down and we miss the game is over. An open quick shot in rhythm is good.

I loved how Jeff didn't call a timeout.

Indeed. That Memphis game when better Gasol block Kieff's last shot was awful.

We just need a four! And a few years of growth and Archie and Len will be a force; 19 and 21 years old?!

I think many of us are just mad at the way we are playing lately. This was a team that was supposed to make the playoffs this year and that is most likely not happening. Many of us need to adjust from believing we were going to make the playoffs this year to not make the playoff mode. And while I enjoy watching the young guys play, I also like to win, and that is something we have not been doing lately.

if your point guard has more rebounds than your power forward. something is wrong.

Knight looked solid in his debut, him working with Hornacek on his shooting could make him one of the best shooters in the league potentially. I really want to see him shoot off curls and high energy type shots (where the player has a full head of steam alot of momentum running into the pass ala korver/ray allen)

That curl catch and shoot was Jeff's best move. If Knight can do that, Jeff can make that play happen over and over.

How many excuses can you make before you admit that Hornacek is not a good coach during a rebuild?

His rotations are awful. We have no half court offense.

I think you mean when Gasol fouled MkMo and didn't get called was awful.

Some good things from the game

-Archie looked good for a second straight game. Looks so much more poised and in control than he did previously. Needs to get stronger to fight through screens but that will come in time. He's going to force his way into more playing time.
-Len showed as good of touch as we've seen from him in the mid range. Nice to see he wasn't rattled by being exposed by Pau all game long.
-Knight played as well as one could after joining a team hours before. He's got a pretty shot. The defense between him, Bledsoe and Archie is athletic and pesky.

I got bashed so much earlier this year saying how Markieff Morris is not that good because he is such an unreliable player and you never know what you are going to get from him. Well this is another perfect example. 31 points last night and 7 points tonight. How can you expect to compete with him? The only thing you know for sure is that he is most likely going to rebound terribly. He is so soft out there. Bad defender and weak rebounder. Inconsistent scorer. Him and Tucker are bench players.

Positive tonight was Len had some really good moments. I am surprised people would bash him just because Gasol had 22 and 14. Gasol was the starting center of the all star game this year and a 2 time NBA champion having a fantastic season. Len played okay. Archie Goodwin again looked great. I thought Brandon Knight had a really nice debut.

Once again, another poorly coached game by Hornacek. Should have had Knight out there at the end. The Suns specifically said he is a big shot taker. Well how is he supposed to take a shot from the bench. Just stupid to sit him there. I do not care that he is brand new. You got him for a reason. Play him.

That part I agree with, calling for his firing is crazy.

And he is hustling defensively. It makes it easier to leave him on the court. I'm glad he got all that time in the DLeague, he seems like a different player from the start of the year.

If Jeff had 2/5 starters who were vets he'd probably have this team closing out the majority of games. 0/5 isn't good enough (PJ doesn't count because he hasn't been in the league long enough).

Yesterday and tonight were great. Beginning of season was not due to the guard jam. He's done great.

I think the issue most have with Jeff is he shows no emotion out there it's like he's not coaching at all and just letting the players run wild and do whatever they want to do. He doesn't call timeouts when he needs to do either to stop the bleeding and momentum
