Just when we were cleaning off from the last turdstorm, we get dunked right back into the loo. Name another organization that has had as much turmoil in the past 10 yrs. 6 GMs and 5 coaches. Players (and GD good ones) exiting under dubious terms/feelings. Owner making an ass of himself... goddammit, it was just looking like they had finally put all that behind them with a fresh start.

Back to square one with player/fan relations. Nice going. When you make such a big stink, people believe you smell. Now we have a stench on us.

You obviously don't pay attention to the rest of the NBA. Are we the the only team in the league that has issues? There are plenty of players on winning organizations that are a locker room cancer though you just don't hear about it.

Dragic **** the SUNS and they will never forget what happened. Dragic doesn't realize that you shouldn't burn bridges with ANY organization no matter how bad the situation might be. He will regret this decision and I will just link back to this post :D

It's funny so many are so butt hurt about what Dragic did. I'm kind of glad things played out the way they did because it gave us the trigger and a team like the Heat the guts to give up real value for him since they were convinced he would re-sign there. Rather that than keep a silent, yet unhappy Dragic and see him leave in the summer. Glad we got two picks, glad we got rid of Thomas and got another pick, and also like Knight.

I am curious what happened with the agent and Dragic and stuff. I don't really blame Dragic for wanting out as I thought the team made moves they didn't need to and didn't utilize him well this year. It's good for him and us that he left and we all benefit.

Everyone involved made some mistakes here, but what needed to be done is done. Time to move on and stop bickering among each other here. The chemistry on this board sometimes is worse than the Suns for the first half of the season.

Bledsoe is a very very good PG. Averaging 17/5/6 with very good defense, but he also averages 3.1 turnovers per game which is not good, but also not too bad. I agree with others and don't see him ever becoming an All Star.

I wanted to sign him to a $10 million contract, and think he is slightly overpaid at $14 mill. I guess once the cap goes up he will be considered to be on a good contract.

As a Sun, Steve Nash averaged 3.6 turnovers. He averaged more assists though.

Those numbers would have been great today. Minus the turnovers and clanking three that would have tied the game.

Bled was 13/8/7/3/1 tonight against the Bulls. Would have loved for him to hit that last 3 though.

Bledsoe wasn't the problem tonight. It was clearly Markieff.

Our problem is we clearly lack a quality backup center. This forces Kief to play out of position. We see what happens when Len goes out of the game. Plumlee was not the answer and obviously didn't want to play for the Suns. Wright is not a backup center. He's is too short and slim. Through the first three quarters we were even with the Bulls on rebounding. We certainly need another legit 7 footer when we play teams like the Bulls with two bigs boys (Noah/Gasol).

Wright isn't really even short, and his wingspan is ridiculous. He's a great backup center. We are good in that department.

When we had Plumlee as backup center though...that was a much different story. I still can't figure out why Horny kept playing Plumlee after the Wright trade.

Wright 6' 9" and 209 pounds. Not an NBA center. Going against Gasol 7' and 250 and Noah 7' and 232.

Also ... Wright's blocks and rebounds 0 and 3 against the Bulls in 22 minutes. Should be at least 1 and 6.

I don't think we necessarily need a back up center,we just need someone who can grab rebounds off the bench (t-rob? Barron?) because wright/morri can't get it done. Defensively I think wright is solid, morri are prettt average. But yeah I agree when len goes out the defense softens up inside and our rebounding fails. I don't think we can find someone to replicate lens interior D, but certainly we can find some who can get some boards at pf or c.

Side note: I still think Love would be a great fit on this team, his rebounding and spacing on offense would be perfect, his shortcomings on defense could be covered up by len..okay pipe dream over now.

I'm resigned to the fact that it takes a whole load of luck to become a championship contender.

There are 10-20 humans on earth who decide whether your team can be a contender, and most of the time nobody even knows who they are.

I'd like to have seen the Suns maybe trade that Minnesota pick or some other 2nd rd pick to Houston for Tarik Black before the Rockets cut him.

Black is averaging 5 rebounds in 15 mins of play for the Lakers, in 30 mins that would be like 10 rebounds.

Suns still have a minnesota pick?

No I meant instead of trading it to Boston.

Dude. We have the best backup center in basketball in Wright. Yes, he plays some 4 for us also, but he's primarily a 5, particularly with Plumlee gone. Bigs are rare in this league. Most teams can't find a quality starter.

I think we need a better backup 4 though, or another backup big who can at least play some 4.

Wright didn't play well tonight. Most people don't against Chicago's front line. Also, it's not like Wright plays badly every night.

Wingspan is always a bigger deal than height. You don't block shots or grab rebounds with your face. Wright is plenty long enough and proven enough to be called a 5.

You'd honestly rather have Black than Wright? :o

I'd rather have both.
