Bum hand and ankle. Looked good in our last 2 games, though.

What Bulls fans who so easily have been trading him for a number of years now don't know about Taj, is what Pax knows about Taj.

He also said that he took the week off and went to Brooklyn and that it did him wonders. You can tell he is feeling better. Let's hope he doesn't get rundown again.

Here's what I think....if we make the NBA Finals, Taj is NOT getting salary dumped.

Uncle Jerry will pay the tax. Its the beauty of Gar-Pax raking in the moolah in previous seasons; it gives them the right to go and ask Jerry /Michael/other owners to spend money in pursuit of a title.

Yes now this. This is why he can't pass or rebound. Yup. If it was Rose everyone would be killing him.

It makes sense with the way he was playing. Good to hear that the ligament is healing up (I think I saw that mentioned).

Taj has always been willing o try and play through injuries. He is, like Thibs said, a warrior.

The question is whether he should be trying to play through injuries like this, or whether it would be better for him to sit and try to let his body heal.

that really explains the poor lift and lack of finishing ability around the rim this season

By the way thats two different occassions that we have heard Jen Swanson doing the WRONG thing:

1) Kirk played with turf toe for a majority of the season
2) Taj has been playing with 2 injuries

Whats common to Kirk and Taj? They are 2 of the 3 love children that Thibs has had.

I think playing Kirk and Taj inspite of their injuries is Thibs negotiating price for not having Rose and Noah available to him without constraints.

These things obviously cant be proven. But it seems like how things would have played out. Sadly, Thibs made the wrong negotiating choices, if that is the case.

If Taj is hurt he should sit. His play has been awful and if he needs time to rest he should rest. He's been playing bad all year though, so when did this start?

Should Niko not be playing PF and Taj resting?

He can't do any further damage if the ligament is torn. Deng played with a similar injury, and Aldridge is doing it now.

So with Taj's ankle and hand, why isn't Niko getting more run?

Huge Taj fan, and this news just backs that love up. Really hope we can keep him fresh so he can have an impact in the Playoffs

Taj has had this for a while, why are we just finding out about it? Ppl like friedel and kc johnson who are there to report this kind of stuff should have known, they not doing their jobs. Anyway I think we could all tell something was up with taj, he started off the season dominating, then slowed down like 10-15 games in, didnt have the same intensity.Last night he looked good though, hopefully that keeps up and if he needs rest it wont be a problem.
