How can you be a GM and watch these moves go on around you and do nothing apart from an irrelevant trade which will not make this team any better.

We will be the definition of a treadmill team for the next half a decade because of this ineptitude.

It is a disgrace we have had to put up with this incompetent fool for so long without answers.

And don't get me started on Randy Wittman. This team will go nowhere near a decent playoff run with him at the controls. Just unable to change with the times and plays the same way every game.

Don't worry about Durant, right now we have literally ZERO chance of him giving us any thought. We will be lucky to be able keep John Wall the way things are going.

They've had near on 10 days to prepare for this game and we get blown out at HOME by 38!!

Keep on keeping on EG. Just keep this very average team being very average to save your own a$$. If I was Wall is want out of this rabble.

After the Kings unloaded Sessions, they called-up David Stockton.

Take a look at the call-up list, the best teams & worst teams are using it.The most notable call-up being Hassan Whiteside on 11/24. The Sixers found Robert Covington. The old Wizards and their old GM couldn't be bothered with trying to improve the team before the trade deadline. I am hoping to be surprised with the usage of that last roster spot.

He is really just not capable of judging talent - it really isn't anything more than that...

Right, I just keep forgetting or I hope one of his lackeys might be actually doing some scouting. When the FO was "unanimous" on selecting Vesely, that was a shocking indicator that they don't know what the fup they are doing when it comes to talent evaluation and roster building.

Stockton also gets to play for George Karl, who coached against his dad for at least a dozen years. Young Stockton his Miller and a supportive coach, both bode well for him.

Philly made another call up who might be in the NBA a while:

http://thesixersense.com/2015/02/19/six ... -contract/

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – FEBRUARY 20, 2015 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced they have signed guard Tim Frazier to a second 10-day contract.

Frazier signed his first 10-day contract with the Sixers on Feb. 5 and appeared in three games with two starts, averaging five points, five rebounds and nine assists. Through the first three games of his NBA career, Frazier tallied 26 assists, the seventh-most by any player dating back to 1985-86.

Frazier had 13 points (shot 5-9 FG) and had 7 assists, 4 turnovers in Philly's loss to Indiana last night. Instead of trading Miller, I wish the Wizards had simply acquired Frazier and worked him in for 5-10 minutes, here and there. Frazier is undersized, but he's a good distributor with a LOT of quickness.

Or, grooming Tim Frazier.

Frazier's got two degrees and is all kinds of intelligent. I expect with his quickness he's going to figure the NBA out and parlay his ability into a decent career.

I really really had hoped we would have given Frazier a trial run. I was really impressed by how Frazier handled himself when he basically flew-in and started for the 76ers. There would have been absolutely no-harm in taking a look at Frazier or Stockton well before the trade deadline. Very aggravating.

I feel like EG is not a terrible Gm he is just a pitiful judge of talent. Do what the skins did. Leave EG as the Team president but then go out and get a better GM or head of basket ball operations.

1. Building a roster and judging talent is one of the most critical parts if this job
2. Why?!?! He needs to be gone years ago

I don't want him around but what I am saying is that unless he does something scandalous or racist or something like that, then we are probably not getting rid of him. if ted values him for what ever reason, at least get the talent out of his hands and into the hands of someone with a mind for that kind of thing. Something is better than nothing!

Wall has demonstrated an ability to turn average wings into threats, thanks to his penetration and court vision. This current roster is testing the limits of what even Wall can do.

EG needs to fashion a roster that caters to Wall's strengths; instead, he's steered away from them. An abundance of post players. A lack of shooting and spacing. Frankly, this squad would be better off with a scoring PG instead of Wall. The interior defense might be enough to compensate for a Kyrie-type PG, and wings like Porter won't mind standing around and watching a scoring PG take all of the FGAs. Of course, that's not the kind of PG we have -- so it's a poor strategy to build this kind of team around Wall.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

EG and Wittman need to go.

But they won't.

They will ride this mediocre 1st round exit all the way. And keep the team on a treadmill to keep their jobs for as long as Ted is still the owner.

Return to Washington Wizards
