Waltons 2 yr run in Portland is on par with MJs 2 best seasons for team winning %. He is the best defensive player left and will be a DPOY candidate. Waltons high post game, great passing and elbow jumper allow him to play with a low post scorer at PF or SF and still create excellent spacing. He is a team player and willing to defer to the hot hand or mismatch. Since my team runs the UCLA offense Walton fits right in as he is its master.
Walton is a good pick. I was thinking about him too, can I ask what years you selected? Obviously 77 and 78, but did you go with 76 for the third year? Or are you allowed to stretch it to 86 because of injury?
The injury grace is for one season only.

Draft seems to have grounded to a halt, so I'll bump this thread. RSCD, it's your turn now.

It's entirely possible he didn't se it getting moved, so I'm gonna quote him.

Maybe as a general rule, when you make your pick, you should quote the guy who is next as a sort of "tag you're it".

Re: All-Time non-Elite Fantasy Draft, Draft Thread
Someone had the idea to just go down the line of the top 100 list to fill up a roster if someone doesn't show. But that is merely a stopgap and wouldn't hold in the later rounds. I'm assuming he just didn't know we have started. Not sure what the right solution is though.

Ok. Modern rules mean I want the soon-to-be reigning MVP: 2013-2015 Stephen Curry

And because he did so well the last time paired with a NC guard, with the first pick of the second round, I pick: 1994-1996 Scottie Pippen

Steph already out? Dammit.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Everyone please bookmark this thread, and quote the next person who has to vote.
Also **** you for picking Steph. Can't say I'm mad, because I think a lot of people wanted him in the second round, and I don't think he would have fallen to me.
If you think you will be inactive for a while, please send me a big board via PM.

It doesn't have to be now, but at some point I'm going to need windows for these players' peaks.
