Realistically what could he have done?

Looking at the moves that were made for Point Guards and Centers yesterday I don't think that the Rockets enter any of those discussions without including Motiejunas. I think that it would have been a mistake to move that guy for anyone who got a new home yesterday.

Sometimes the best moves are the ones that you don't make.

he could have done a lot more

he had a ton of expiring contracts, use the pelicans pick, second round picks i dont care just improve this team

i was not asking for the moon ..

but seriously this team was/is screaming for a average point guard and a average center ...thats all i wanted a regular center and a regular point guard

how is that so difficult to acquired ?

i have to call like it is, morey did a sorry job

im still mad

now beverly your starting point guard is not closing games any more ... what a mess
fire morey please ,the sooner the better.....ryan Anderson is a 3 not a 4

that dude prigioni looks to be 45 years old... kj mcdaniels plays same position as harden

still major issues at the 1 and 5 positions

i was expecting the rockets to do something similar to what the thunder did

very bad job by morey

another first round exist :noway:

I would not be suprised to see Houston finish with the 6 seed or something, especially if Howard is out for awhile.

Perhaps Houston would be better entering the Playoffs and underdog? :-?

they can beat the mavs...blazers 50/50...spurs 50/50....of course this assumes howard is healthy.

prigioni is gonna make your bench better immediately. he's unselfish, and in fact at times too unselfish. mike woodson had to twist his arm to get him to shoot more when he's open. he executes the offense, plays with discipline, observes good shot selection and decision making, almost never turns the ball over, shoots threes consistently well, from the corner, or the top of the arc, in catch and shoots, off of screens, or in pull ups in transition. defensively he competes and is pretty crafty, and he gets a lot of steals and deflections and while you wont see him pressuring full court he is definitely not a poor defender either. he's also good at pestering guys and baiting them into pushing off to create space at which point he will some times embellish the contact to get the call. you can also probably expect him to occasionally close out games. he earned woodson's trust due to the fact that he shoots a high free throw %, has a 3 point shot that must be respected, plays with poise, and has good game sense, meaning he is always aware of time and score, timeouts, team fouls, and that sort of thing. he's also surprisingly durable. despite his age he has probably been our overall healthiest player since we first signed him. i think you guys getting pablo was quietly the best trade deadline deal. it was also one of those trades in which everyone wins. you fill a significant need with a guy who can fill that need right away, pablo gets to play for a contender, and we get picks for a player who was just sitting on the bench.

Don't know why we keep adding defensive players, we need some more offensive firepower...

Well I guess we'll just agree to disagree. I think they can beat any of those teams with a healthy roster.

as long harden doesn't have to spend most of his energy playing defense we have a chance to win
problem is ... why mchale keep putting harden on redick or crawford?

Don't listen to any knick fans about pablo. He's a scrub - maybe the worst PG in the NBA. Morey is an idiot. That trade is an example of relying on analytics instead of being knowledgeable on who can play the game. 2 picks for him was a steal for Jackson.

His contract for next year is only guaranteed for $300k so they will probably waive him this offseason and save $1.4m or include him in a trade package.

How weird is it that Rockets have 2nd highest payroll in the league right now ahead of the Knicks and behind only Portland. Although that includes some dead money like Scola, Garcia, Covington, Ish Smith, Adrien,
