Really wouldnt risk McBob for just a bunch of games and then lose in the first round. I'd rather have anyone ready for training camp to create a system and chemistry. If he indeed comes back we would be integrating 3 new guys with Dragic and also Whiteside.
I would rather pick someone pick fromthe buyout market..

So maybe my report was from the day before. Just off crutches is a long way from being ready to play.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Based on? Every injury that results in crutches does not equate to the same (or even similar) recovery timetable. If he doesn't play this season because he doesnt feel ready or the doctors deem him not ready, then I fully support that. But, i don't understand all these people just throwing out proclamations re meniscus surgery recovery without providing any basis for that.

A LOT of people (athletes) are back from meniscus surgery in a month's time. I took probably about 2 months before I was back practicing college football fully. The extent of the surgery and repair vs cleaning will likely make his recovery a bit longer. But nothing extreme

SILVER LINING UPDATE...

Josh is closer to playing "off crutches" than he was "on crutches".

His ball movement is sorely missed.

not sure why the hate here. Mcrob just got off crutches for godsakes. We're talking about him coming back near & for the playoffs where every team and player goes balls to the wall and leave it all out there on the court. We really want to risk any more injuries since Mcrob has been down twice now due to injuries. Rest him until he is 200%. Why bring him back when we are merely just competing. Especially if Riley say signs Blatche or another impactfull player we won't need him.

The hate is stemmed from Goodman taking a hardline stance while clearly knowing nothing about the injury or the recovery from it. I had meniscus surgery. I think you and Goodman are severely overstating the severity of returning from it

I guess we'll see come near playoffs time how severe it is.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

One thing for a regular civilian to come back quick from MCL injury. It's another thing for an NFL player to return quickly from MCL injury who only plays ~18 games a year with a week off between each game in a stop and start sport. It's a different animal for an NBA player to come back from MCL injury in a sport that's a 10k marathon with jumps, jogs, and full sprints at least 82 times a year with back-to-back nights and 4 games in 5 nights.

The degree of the MCL injury is also important. Some tears are worse than others.

If he is ready to play we should let him do it. If anything goes wrong then he will have until January 2016 to get healthy. It's a win-win situation.

I just realized that Josh McRoberts had the same injury Derrick Rose. It seems this was a terrible year for injuries.
