statistics says nothing, show it!

I remember Wade was at like 53% FG around December but then it just went spiraling down since.

Yes no one should dribble the basketball except Dragic Wade chalmers Napier. Everyone else should be strictly catch and shoot or cut to the basket plays.

Dribbling should not be an option for the rest of the team! Especially Lt. Dang

Dragic is at 50%... Wade at 48 and He probably lowered it from the other night

He needs his rhythm back. Awful game from him last time. We shall see if Dragic can get him easy buckets when Wade does that elbow curl, whatever it's called

Also this is a home game

War flash backs of last time we faced Philly lmao... Cole and Granger **** that one up.

The two guys who terrorized us last time, Daniels and MCW (defensively tho he actually made shots last time)... So maybe we can win lmao

Wade's J has regressed a bit. Him getting back in rhythm is key; Wade is the type of player who would shoot over 60% from the field for like 5 straight games

Honestly it sounds like Spo is ready to give the offense over to Dragic.

Good Dragic interview from earlier today http://www.nba.com/heat/video/teams/hea ... v-3526743/
He talked about throwing lobs to Whiteside :droop:
Sounds like they spent the past 2 days focusing on defense, which is all Spo really seems to care about so lets hope that Wade and Dragic can figure out the offense themselves. :D

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

That sounds like the best course of action honestly, let your point guard be a point guard.

He's only 2 games in from injury......When he had a good stretch of games playing healthy his rhythm was good & dude was drainin' j's like it was nbody's business.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Good defense leads to good offense. We have to be solid on both ends of the floor to be able to be efficient on any side of the floor. We also have to hammer it home to Dragic that we are a defensive minded team first & foremost!

He did say they didn't bring him to be off the ball

He has to handle it, make plays and be aggressive

It will take time for guys to adjust and know their new roles, like Deng is getting hated on trying to replace Bosh, it's tough out there

No doubt but the point is that, that is Spo's philosophy when it comes to offense… thats really all there is to it. Other coaches have offensive systems in place to allow their role players to get easy shots, we don't. Another user commented that the stuff we run on offense is high school stuff and that works when you have LeBron creating everything but without him it's difficult. With that said if Spo hands over the reigns to the offense to Dragic I think him and Wade can figure out how to be effective.

We need an assistant coach for offense. Badly.

Dragic is exceptionally talented
Wade is exceptionally talented
LeBron (on the Heat) is exceptionally talented

When you have exceptional talent on your team, esp from a coach as offensively challenged as Spoelstra, you let those type of players dictate the offense.

I guess we'll soon see what Spo has implemented for our offense tonight. As Coach Pop says it's basketball, not rocket science - Coach will have something for us. Spo is not as bad as people make him out to be. He seems to be the worst coach of all time after losses but nobody has a word to say after victories.

Rooting for you guys to win. Just don't let Covington and Canaan get open looks. Feed whoever Henry Sims is guarding, dude can't play defense.

I will never forget back in '09 when Spo said "give the ball to Wade and gtfo his way"

That's basically been his offense since he's been a coach (With LeBron while he was here and now Goran will take the reins).

I don't think he's a bad coach, I've always been a supporter of his. I'm just pointing out that offense isn't exactly his forte. We'll see, I'm hopeful. :D
