That's fine for a team that's been together for a while, a team trying to figure itself it's detrimental to the team chemistry that they need to build. When I say team chemistry I'm talking about how the team/players react when playing hard and in tough situations.
I really feel like what I'm going to see is D.Rose not going hard much during the regular season, maybe he ramps it up near the last games and then we see "hero" ball. This is the most offensive talented team Rose has played yet his FGA rate is the highest of his career. His MVP year he shot 19 FGA PER36, this year he's 19.7 FGA PER36, that should be bothering everyone, toss in 19.7 while not even giving the same effort he did his MVP year and that should be alarming everyone.
Why come off a 2 year layoff and shoot at the highest rate of your career while not giving the effort you use to give? How can this not be a problem for the team?
This isn't quite accurate.
True FGA per 100 possessions:
'10-'11: 32.3
'14-'15: 30.9
He's not shooting more; he's just not getting as many calls as he used to.
he's not making as many buckets as he used to. not assisting like he used to. turning it over more than he used to.
