It must be a thousand times more awesome of a feeling for those who stuck by this organization through the last decade of disappointment. My hat is off to those who did.

Been watching this team since 1981.. Seen 3 titles and the Pistons end Bird's reign, Magic's, and was the team that made Michael Jordan what he ended up being.. Watched Isiah Thomas since his rookie year (greatest Piston of all-time hands down), and every other great draft during the 80's.. Watched Dennis Rodman as a shy young kid, turn into the greatest defender of all-time.. Favorite player of all-time, Bill Laimbeer..
Going to work Pistons were great in their own way.. That team was something special.
This team wins championships.. We had some hard times in the 90's too.. We'll be back.

Thanks, I had a friend who showed me some of these highlights a few weeks ago. But it's nice to be filed in on some of the franchise's most notable moments and players. I honestly hope we can replicate similar success in the seasons to come.

He really was a great get, and the potential of Drummond and Monroe are what brought him here.

"They were very nimble," Gores said. "In fact, I wrote them a note to tell them how nimble they've been. They are very nimble.
Can you imagine how weird it would be to come to work and see that note scrawled laying upon your desk? "You've been very nimble, Stan. ~Tom."

Both deals had/have positives and negatives for us...but to go from one to the other at the 11th hour is damn good, especially when we didn't kill our future
