This. Nothing to get too excited about, but a must-win that we actually won.

Is it me or do our players play better @ a faster pace. Even Ennis, though only scored 3 pts in 20 mins, looked much better & more comfortable. Pelicans also play at a faster tempo & we saw Cole, in his first game, drop 12 pts. Perhaps our younger players thrive @ a quicker pace rather than slow, half court offense.

Although Wade didn't look too good playing faster he can adjust to the tempo i'm sure, i think he must in order to make good use of Dragaic skill set.

This game was very exciting to watch. Seeing Dragic get more comfortable out there w/ the team in only his 2nd game is a good, positive sign.

Ennis needs to do what he does best and stop trying to do what he not good at. DEFEND DEFEND and get out in transition. He gets in trouble when tries to create. He needs to accept the fact he cant dribble lol.

I was wondering on how Dragič would fit the Heat, now after yesterdays game I can safely say he fits here better than he ever did in Phoenix. Way more bball movement, guys cutting in, Wade is a whole different level than Bledsoe even when not having his best night and I can only imagine how god of a fit CB would be here.
Goran will need time to get to know all the offensive options Whiteside offers, but even if it's only 2nd game with Heat and Philly isn't exactly a top team, yesterdays game was one of the most fluid offensive team performances I've seen in a while.

As I've said for Zoran, he makes up a lot of his shortcomings with his energy, untill he prooves that on court Spoelstra will imo stay sceptical about him as that's not the kind of stuff players normaly show on practice.

Geez.. Some of you really have the need to flip on any of these players and in a hurry. So now Ennis is the new victim?
Kid needs A LOT of work, I'll be the first one to admit but let's not trash him or give up on him yet just because he can't meet some of your unrealistic expectations at this time. He is only 24!!!!

Give him time to find his role with this team. Do not start the trashing.

Is it unrealistic for an NBA player to hit a wide open jumper ever once in a while? He was 1 for 8 last night and almost every one of his shots was uncontested. It's not just last night but every time he is on the floor. He has poor dribble skills and he can't hit open jumpers. Ok maybe it's not the time to give up on him but it's not the time to be giving him so many minutes either. He is a D League prospect that needs to work on his craft. Let him go to the D League and when he starts hitting 40% from three then bring him back up.

Nah, Ennis just needs to stick to what he's good at. Defense and taking uncontested threes from the corner that will eventually drop. Those are the shots I'd want him to take. It's when he does things he's uncomfortable with, like dribbling the ball away from the basket (hesitations, step backs) is when I'm not too hot on him. But when he's shooting open jumpers or has a clean drive in the lane (because he has talent with pocket passes), he's not bad. He's a rookie. He's bound to make mistakes and he's solid defensively. Now that he knows the open shot will be there, he'll practice those much, MUCH more. I think this offseason he'll improve his handles.

Similar with Napier. But he's not good defensively or was just outmatched by Canaan.

Yes, unrealistic expectations. Most in here wanted him to get minutes he obviously did not deserve. There was even a thread about Ennis being ROY. He's getting burn right now mostly out of need. He needs to work in his craft and figure out his role with the team (defense, 3pt shooting, rebounding etc). My issue is with the trashing, the name calling etc. Is that necessary? Is that what you are trying to justify? It's almost as there is need to have a scapegoat on the team.
