Your Washington Wizards are looking to avenge their disappointing road loss from the other night as they face the Golden State Warriors tonight. Bradley Beal is sitting out for the Wizards with an injured Fibula and Stephen Curry is a game time decision for the Warriors as he is nursing a sore ankle/heal.

We have a chance as long as Klay Thompson doesn't go NBA JAM vs us and maybe if Steph Curry sits. Anyway, as you all know the 3rd Quarter is where we end up always being killed. Hopefully, Randy has a game plan for tonight.

I suspect Wiz will put forth best & consistent effort of the season and get a win or lose a heartbreaker. Either way I'd be surprised if this team comes out lethargic or unmotivated after what happened the past two games.

This was before the addition of Draymond Green. 4 out of the 5 GSW starters, are players Ernie passed on.

I think a lot of us wanted to avoid Harrison Barnes because he's the typical EG pick. The Wizards wanted to play him at SG in the 2012 draft workouts. Few guys here were comparing him to Calbert Cheney (I think David Aldridge also did).

But Curry and Thompson were right there for the taking. Instant upgrades over the trash we collected with those golden picks.

Curry would have been buried behind Arenas to start 2009-2010 but due to the gun incident would have gotten a lot of shine thereafter.

And we all know about 2011. We had 2 picks in the top 20 and both of those guys are no longer in the NBA. We could have literally picked anyone else and be a nicer team today.

Typical Ernie GrunFAIL.

Ouch. EG had Curry BEHIND Rubio.

I wonder what our future would look like if we had drafted Klay instead of Vesely and Nerlens Noel instead of Porter.

My "who's gonna win" machine says the Wizards have a 30% chance of winning tonight. New final record projection based on performance to-date: 46 or 47 wins.

Still better than last year - time to claim victory.

I am not totally confident that the Wiz will win this one.

New thread starter -- thanks a lot! I'd like lots of folks who haven't started game threads (or many game threads) to get going here. It's cool to get fresh blood.

Wizards win by 4. They actually take a 8-10 point lead into the final 5 minutes and almost lose the game.

I hope GSW makes like 20 threes and we lose by 45.
