Reggie too? Come on :(
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

I was hoping against the odds that he would fall to me.

Deciding between a slightly superior player and a position of much greater scarcity (and wondering who'll be available almost 2 rounds later). Arrgh! Then trying to second guess how players "reputations" affect them. And working out the fit.

Okay, it's still only the second round (so not going to draft for "need" yet, may regret this later), I like this guy as the best player available (and have for a while) and like the fit. I'm picking ...

Karl Malone.

Waltons 2 yr run in Portland is on par with MJs 2 best seasons for team winning %. He is the best defensive player left and will be a DPOY candidate. Waltons high post game, great passing and elbow jumper allow him to play with a low post scorer at PF or SF and still create excellent spacing. He is a team player and willing to defer to the hot hand or mismatch. Since my team runs the UCLA offense Walton fits right in as he is its master.

Your pick.

I was surprised Malone fell as far as he did.

I don't think it was against the odds..Looking at the PC Board Top 100 list, Reggie is ranked #40. We have 12 players banned here, and 18 guys have been selected before Miller, so theoretically, there should still be about 10 guys selected before Miller. To be honest with you, I was hoping that Miller would still be available when my time comes, to make the second selection...Naive me.

I'm afraid the guy I want to take will be gone sooner than I expect, too... (and I don't even like him as much as Miller, because he lacks one of Reggie's skills...)

Malone, Barkley off the list...

I'm gonna go ahead and complete the best pick and roll duo the game has ever seen by a longshot. Amar'e Stoudemire quietly peaked as one of the greatest scoring big men of all time, and those fast twitch muscles will allow him to be the scoring anchor of my offense with his catch-and-finish ability. Underrated IQ, and the synergy between he and Nash was insane. Probably the greatest "weapon" of any remaining big.

I am legitimately struggling. Do I go BPA or do I draft from a thinner position...? Decisions, decisions. Hoping to pick tomorrow.

Ok, I hope I'm not picking him too early here but I'm gonna go with Andrei Kirilenko. Efficient scorer, amazing defender, very high impact player all around (He has some incredible years in RAPM). He can lock down small forwards or play a stretch 4 role. This type of player is very portable and versatile.

There's so many legit players you need to be careful with BPA, you should go with the best need for your team. Since you got KD for your first pick you might wanna balance that out with a defensive oriented 2nd pick.

Very tough choice here, but I'm gonna take the best C available and pick Alonzo Mourning.
