Pistons up 11 on Cavs at half.

Good find, but Amin basically just reiterated everything that has already been stated 300 times on here before.

I also think he sounded dumb as hell talking about Dragic getting traded for eventually nothing when Miami gave up two first rounders for a guy thats going to make 20 million a year for the next 5 years after this season.

"Don't like the Walker deal, for instance Miami got Dragic for almost nothing" - Yeah, once they pay Dragic on top of Bosh and Wade they are almost capped out. That is definitely not almost nothing.

At least he likes MKG, and surprisingly likes Taylor.

Im happy that he is completely sure Jefferson is going to opt out. He says that Jefferson is undervalued at his current deal? I couldn't disagree more.

Is there a consensus on whether or not people here want us in the playoffs? Or is it kinda split?

Sounds split.

I don't like Amin. I hardly ever agree or get a positive vibe whenever I read one of his excerpts or see him on TV. But I thought everybody might want to know what a notable ESPN insider thinks about our team.

Yeah, post more of those whenever an ESPN guy comes on Charlotte radio if you can. I just like the fact that he believes Jefferson will opt out. I've firmly believed he will for a while. Glad someone else does as well.

Cavs came back and are looking to beat Detroit tonight, thankfully.

Playoffs for me. Cho can't draft homeruns and Clifford benches top 5 talents behind the Maxiells of the world anyway. If we sneak in and get swept
again, oh well. It's Cho's bed, he can sleep in it.

No playoffs is the right move for the long term even with Cho's blunders and Clifford's being stubborn.

Agreed. If all this team has is young players then Cliff is gonna have to play them. I really like Devin Booker

Same here. Glad I am not the only one on the Booker train. That shot is sweet.

I'm rooting for the playoffs every season until we're mathematically eliminated, at that point I'll see where the ping pong balls stand. I don't care if we get swept, I don't actually think we will be if totally healthy anyway(not a given), it would be two years in a row making the postseason for the first time since the turn of the millennium. That's big for building the fan base and selling the Hornets as a "success" in their first season, not to mention a positive experience for the young players.

But I'm of the opinion our young guys (Kemba/MKG/Zeller/Vonleh/Hairston/Biz) are actually pretty decent, they're just the fourth (I think?) youngest team in the league and still growing as players. We failed to surround them with competent and matching support this offseason and won't get another shot at fixing that until 2016, that's the core problem imo.

Detroit is a much better team now. They will definitely pass us soon. This team is not making the playoffs.

I second this. Especially without Biz and Kemba

I want the team to make the playoffs.

But I don't expect this team to make the playoffs.

I'm also accepting the fact that we are not making the playoffs. Too many other teams around us that are in a much better position to succeed and are also actively trying to make the playoffs. We'd get swept if we face the Cavs and we might win one game if we face the Hawks. They will be the top 2 seeds and there is 0% chance we climb up to #6. Its a waste of a season in all aspects, not even valuable playing time for our 1st round picks.

8th seed again, at least for one night. Next three games are huge. If we can play like we did tonight we'll have a strong chance in all of them. I hope Biz gets back soon too, Maxiell has done everything he can but he's just overwhelmed on the boards.

Unless we win a top-3 pick.
