So much for that.

I don't know that Miami was THAT interested being that the team lacks/needs more of a stretch four. Blatche and Beasley are still the best options out there. Interesting move by TRob though considering that Thaddeus Young will play ahead of him. Oh well, moving on..

There was plenty of mutual interest dating back to when he was drafted. He probably sees himself as a better long term fit with the Nets. I can understand that. We move along

Apparently, this is a 10-day contract, which I didn't expect.

Regardless, just sign someone. Deng with extended time at the 4 is just asking for trouble IMO.

Not all of that DPE is going to be spent either.

Totally agree. Not the right time or fir for us right now. Or for him, really. Good luck to the kid, I like some of the things he brings (mainly rebounding and playing hard) but doubt he becomes more then a decent backup. Still wish him well. He has some definite "Heat" qualities about him but timing is everything in this league.

We probably won't use the full DPE in order to avoid the repeater tax penalty. That's fine, Blatch and Beas could be had for the Min. If they demand more they can take an hike.

Blatche might, I think Beasley would take whatever he could get to play here again. I think Blatche has a multi year offer to return to China, so he might be looking to make as much as he can here.

Batch has a rumored multy year contract in the 3+ mil range. No way he risks that for min contract.

That leaves Beasley, Miller and McBob if he miraculously comes back.

We should also consider David Wear. If we are trying to stretch offensively, he looks like a good choice - cheap too.

Ouch! 76ers there for the block!

76ers Claim Thomas Robinson On Waivers
The Philadelphia 76ers have placed a waiver claim on Thomas Robinson.
Robinson was prepared to sign with the Brooklyn Nets if he cleared waivers.
The Denver Nuggets released Robinson this week.
Claiming Robinson allows the 76ers to exceed the salary cap floor.

well there's goes that lol
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I wonder what Sam Hinkie's got up his sleeves. The man is a analytics junkie. All these moves like moving MCW and Joel Embiid and picking up TRob must mean something.
