Bad Sign on this point of the season, hope this wont go further and affect the team chemistry. Specially since the trade line is over.

Did you guys see the Rick post game presser? I got to find it. He was somewhat ducking the question of Rondo being the starter. Although I can't see that happening.

Doesn't deserve to start.. The offense flowed so much better when he sat.. Sucks, but this has Lamar Odom written all over it. He better get his head straight.

Just let him walk goodness,, he's nothing but a role player with a bad of attitude, let him be someone else's headache this summer, anyone with real basketball know would have known he's a terrible fit next monta and now Ellis is relegated to shooting long two because nobody is guarding rondo

Just like I said, Rondo wants more of responsibility and a bigger role on the team.

Decent read and some very interesting figures that I wouldn't have even guessed.

Its one game, I'm not fussed, we have enough weapons to survive.

If anything, Parsons is the guy we could move. I like the combo of Jefferson of Aminu currently.

Its time to just release Rondo. He is an ill fitting piece that I don't want to build a team around. Rondo needs to move on to somewhere else. Dallas got what they paid for with Rondo. He isn't as bad as Lamar Odom but he certainly doesn't help this team. I've kinda changed my tone on this because Rondo is disgruntled and will not fit into Carlisles current system.

Laker fan here. I saw the replay this morning. I saw Rondo walk up the court and Carlisle called a time out and then the 'exchange happened. What in the hell happened??? I would love to see Rondo in a Laker uniform...but this is Rick freakin' Carlisle...a proven coach who seem to have all of the players in his corner. A good guy from what I know.

This makes me want to think twice about wanting Rondo in LA.

Rondo drives me crazy when I watch him. When he drives towards the hoop, he doesn't ever seem to be looking for the shot. I guess he is afraid of getting fouled, but it is like we are playing 4 on 5 when we are on offense.

We need to craft better lineups around Rondo. In terms of +/- averages, Rondo-Ellis-Chandler is our worst 3-man lineup at +0.6 points per 100 possessions. Our best? Harris-Ellis-Chandler at +10.3 points per 100 possessions. Most likely explained by the spacing that Harris provides on offense... we have an outside threat in Harris and we see fewer jump shots from Monta.

This situation is going to come down to whether Rondo is fine with Carlisle playing him <30 mpg. I'm optimistic for Rondo alongside Stoudemire in the Brandan Wright role. Less crowded around the rim than with Chandler. I like Rondo and Barea together. But Rondo and Ellis can only coexist in the backcourt so much.

We need Rondo on defense. When he missed the Golden State game, Steph Curry went off for 51 points with 10 3s, and Harris was -13. There's no way I can fault the Mavs for acquiring Rondo when we're liable to give up performances to one player like that, in a game we otherwise could have won against the best team in the NBA. But Rondo's success on offense depends so much on who's on the floor around him, and he's going to have to take the role that RC gives him.

This is bad. As in not good.

You guys go ahead and hate on Rondo, but his presence has made us a better team defensively. It can't even be argued. Defense wins in the playoffs.

Are we better offensively with JJ or Devin running the offense? Yes. Is it prettier? Oh hell yes. But does that team do better in the playoffs than with Rondo at the point? I don't think so.

They both need to swallow it, work it out, and focus on getting ready for the playoffs.

He was just suspended for tonight's game vs Hawks.
