I'm not saying I don't think TJ Warren can be good, he could be a stud... but he does not even remotely remind me of Shawn Marion. Marion was an athletic freak who, especially early in his career, played entirely above the rim, flying in transition and was a glass eating freak of nature. TJ is noting like that at all. He is a technical player, with smooth skills and a solid mid range game.

Comparing those two IMO is like saying Goodwin's potential is like that of Nash.

A bit off-topic...wasn't this supposed to be the Suns' 30th win? They have it at 29-28 on nba.com...

Feels good to get a win finally even though its against a bad Nuggets team without 2 staters in Chandler & Faired and Nurkic for some of the game as well.

Warren finishing games out, that's whats up!

Can Gerald Green please get bought out or something? I know for a fact that both Bullock and Goodwin are way better than him and yet he's taking their minutes and my German shepherd is also better than him. Hell if Hornacek really hates Goodwin and Bullock that badly or something, there's players in the D league that are better than Gerald Green.

Green has the worst shot selection out of the whole team and yet 5 others were traded but not him. Lol

Probably couldn't get a first for him. And we would need the bench scoring.

I think Hornacek again being too nice... he is giving everyone minutes so they dont pout... oh well... I suppose might as well have a cheerful locker room.... Cannot believe Goodwin only played 6 minutes and Bullock 30 seconds??

It's pretty sad that Barron gets more minutes then Goodwin/Bulock combined. But at the same time he's a center and if Len gets in foul trouble thats where Barron helps.

Completely agree. He has these awesome stat lines, but then negates it with 6 turnovers. If he could reduce his turnovers by 2 per game, and increase his assists by 2-3 per game, he becomes a top PG.

Reduce his turnovers by 2 and increase his assists by 3 per game? So he would average 9 assists and 1.2 turnovers, and give him an assist to turnover ratio of 7.5. Forget 'a' top PG, he'd effectively become the best point guard in the NBA. I'l settle for increasing his assist total by 2 and lowering his turnovers by 0.5 while improving his scoring efficiency (especially as a spot up 3 point shooter).

With the way Bledsoe plays, it's difficult not to commit a bunch of turnovers a game because his game basically depends on drawing a crowd while driving to the basket. The key for Bledsoe is too offset his turnovers by increasing his scoring efficiency and assists.

Let's not forget that Bledsoe has been put into a difficult situation here, in his first full year as a starting PG, he has been in a backcourt dominated by ball handlers without a good set shooter - and is now facilitating an offense of a team which is trying to gel after receiving a major revamp.

I hope this is a sign of things to come for rebounding though, especially the Morris twins. I would rather Markieff have the statline he had tonight than 25 points/4 rebounds. Hope they keep hustling on the boards if they do, we keep the Morris instead of trading them this summer

BTW, I stand by what I have been saying all year.

Barron > Plumlee

Better rebounder, defender, can catch the ball, smarter, and doesn't think he has an unstoppable hook shot.

Warren takes some weird azz Jamison shots while Marion has an ugly release. I have a feeling Warren will be pretty close to Marion's accomplishments with all said and done. Yeah, I'm definitely going to be bashed for saying that.

You've forgotten just how freaking good Shawn Marion was. He's all over our franchise leaderboards for a reason.

I like Warren but if he even becomes a solid starter I'll be ecstatic, let alone a multiple All-Star/All-NBA player like Trix.

Props to PJ Tucker. Dude has been playing like a beast since the trade.

Yep, he gets very little love here. He does all the things you need to win a ball game, and doesn't take that many shots for a starter. I'm very glad the staff gets it.

It seemed like we really focused on the boards last night. I really hope this is being stressed. Still way too many three pointers when we have a lead and are in the bonus. I understand we don't get the calls off contact, but you have to push that issue. Guys have to play smarter basketball. In the fourth, we were in the bonus a the 4:40 mark, and launched up about four threes in a row, mainly Green.

Great game for TJ. Even if it's one game at a time, I glad the young guys are getting burn. Satisfy their hunger to play, yet keep them hungry to play more. It deepens our bench, if we do happen to luck our way (or even fight our way) into the playoffs.

Tonight will be a tough game.

Not only that, one game against a terrible team that's missing two of its 3 front court starters in Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried and also their front court starter, Nurkic left the game with an injury as well.

Almost every Suns fan has been saying this forever now. What's sad is that when we had Plumlee, there actually a conscious effort made to get him the ball in the post, where as with Len his only shot attempts are from drive and dish from one of the guards. Rarely is he actually thrown the ball down low in a "go to work, here's the ball" fashion.

But..but..but...he's such a good smaritan! He doesn't ever complain about his touches or playing time or whatever

Dude is lucky he's still in the NBA, people need to realize that's why he doesn't complain. If he complains, he'll probably be send back to Russia or wherever overseas he was playing.

I don't know about others, but I know every time I have responded that Green is a "good smaritan" it was in response to someone calling him a locker room cancer or something along those lines. I do think Green just doesn't fit on this team any more though. We have enough players that can score, we should have traded him to Chicago or something but it is what it is.
