It is the worst kept secret in sports that Demole's two biggest fears are dermatologists and wide-open jimmys.
(Just joking I love big homey Demole. Just not right now)

It's all part of the plan, people...

DeMar says he hates taking wide open shots. Other teams hear this, and start leaving him wide open.

Then he starts hitting his shots.

Classic hustle.

Well it's established that DeMar has a great work ethic and loves the game and has some physical tools...

But it's clear his basketball brain is screwed up by watching him play...

Dude came in as a raw teenager and he's been coached by Jay Triano and Dwane Casey. I'm not sure a HOF
coach could erase all the bad habits he's learned at this point.

Why you lie? I listen to video he never say that. He say sometimes it easier for him to make contested shot over wide open shot.

Demar's no fool. He knows he can get to the rim every time -- come playoff time he'll lay it on the line

I can honestly say I am not surprised.

IF someone isnt near by he cannot become the whacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man so that he can get to the line.

Hater thread.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

no surprise here, he proves again that he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer...I was waiting for "we gotta give 110%"...

He is not getting it until a real coach will pull him off and bench him while telling him he is no prima-donna or hero.

I hate to see his face every-time he fumbles the ball and/misses and he is looking & screaming at referee for a mercy call (instead of getting back on defense and stop acting).

We should've traded DD last year at his highest pick, he has clearly reached his plateau and is detrimental to our team going anywhere.
Pretty sure TR would've been better off playing 2 this year with no DeChuck DeChoke around.

C'mon guys, it should be clear what he meant. He was referrimg to wide open all day to shoot, type shots, imo. And we've all watched a game where a guys wide open and the d doesnt close out just expects them to shoot, and the guys calling the game will talk about how its a hard shot because you are too open. It messes up your rhythm, and you have time to think about it. Thats all he was trying to say. He does need to tighten it up, but he knows his game, it the same as it was, hes just not hitting as much this year.

Probably taken out of context. But we all know his bball IQ is poor when it comes to shooting. A guy with his skill and talent shouldn't be shooting this poorly. He would rather play like Nick Young without a 3 point shot rather then D Wade.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

This is the same guy who is shooting 15% from the 3 point line in February while most of those shots, he was wide open. He's a fake Kobe.

He's saying this because he can't get open shots, not because he doesn't like open ones. Defenders play him too tight when he's off ball as they all focus on him. With the ball, he isn't a James Harden where he can just create space with the ball in his hands. You only have to watch 5 min of Raptor ball to see this.

He should be used as an elite 3rd option or a solid second. Unfortunately because of the lack of a superstar on this team he's forced to be the 1st option, and he can't get his offence off when he's treated as one by the opposing team.

No matter how good of a team the Raptors have, fans here will want to tear it down.

It's the "trade and tank" crowd!!

His Kobe mind set will curse us forever. I doubt he'll starting changing now.

Wiggins. Wiggins. In hindsight, we should of tanked for Wiggins. He's already better than Derozan

That's why you're scrubbing around at the local Y, and are not in the NBA.
