Everyone should. It's kind of important when the highest usage player (who also happens to be the worst shooter) on your team doesn't realize the difference between a high and low percentage shot.

I think the point Demar was trying to make is that he is a more of a contact type of player. He kind of plays off the way a defender is playing him to get his shot off. That would make sense since he is not a stand still shooter who is there to space the floor. It's like Dwyane Wade being left alone as a jumpshooter. He probably misses more shot than when he has a defender around him. That said, Demar should know where his best shots are, and those are close to the elbows and on the right and left block. He shouldn't be taking too many 20 foot jumpers even if he is open.

I think he is mediocre like Henderson. I think we should have tanked hard last year. Trade derozan and our pick for the number 1 pick and draft wiggins

He's trolling his FG% to be honest.

I would honestly trade him before his value just drops. He's an inefficient guard and I would easily trade DeRozan and Val for a real all star player.

My goodness every single shot of his tonight were forced. There's a difference between shooting a semi-contested shot to build that rhythm off of a quick 2-3 dribble move/curl and flat out forcing a shot with a defender draped all over him from a stationary position, and I don't think DeMar understands that difference.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

more and more teams are hiring analytic guys. No one in their right mind would pay this dude more than 10 mil a season. He is a 2 guard that specializes in shooting 40% on mostly mid range jumpers

Somethings definitely wrong with him though, he doesn't move the same way nor can he dribble drive the same. He can't even breakdown his defender.

What's worst is he is a ball hog, and tries to shoot his way out of things he can obviously not do right now. He just forced the worst shots I've ever seen. It was really ugly basketball.

And he's gonna continue to do what he does. It ain't like the coach is stopping him. As a matter of fact, the coach encourages him. Casey rode Bargnani come hell or high water, and he made it clear in his most recent fan590 interview that he will also continue to ride with Demar and Kyle with what they do. Want change? Change the coach. Change the player. IMO, for the the organizations best interest and future, change both.

You'd think a player who played basketball for 10+ years with supreme work ethics would have accumulate enough experience to know better.
