And it has to be said again, but al jefferson is absolutely killing us this season. his offense is nowhere near good enough this year to offset his defense. and teams are so much better this year about exploiting him in the pick and roll. that stretch in december/january when he was out is not looking like a fluke. you just can't get away with having a player as slow as jefferson when every team in the league is looking to spread the floor with shooters and use the space to attack the rim with a fast guard.

  :nonono: :nonono: :noway: Up by 14 in the third quarter and we stop playing defense. Thomas just is not that good to score in the paint at will...This is where we miss a rim protector like Biz....We beat the Bulls and can't beat the Celtics?...Next Orlando....
We must win now...Too many teams bunched within a game for 8th seed.

Cliff looked like he could do no wrong that stretch. When guys like Jefferson and Roberts have to play big minutes, Cliff is bound to look bad. But he lost Kemba and Biz. That lineup had ball movement, attacked the rim and played excellent defense as a unit. They still couldn't shoot but you can't blame that on Clifford. Give Clifford that same lineup except give him a real upgrade over Henderson which is what we needed at the deadline.

Brad Stevens is like 17 years old and he absolutely destroyed Clifford in the coaching match-up. Its kind of comical people say Cliff just needs more experience to learn basic game management lol.
