Pistons are coming off a bad double OT loss at home to NY. They'll likely be pissed. A blow out here may finally spell the end for Wittman.

Here's hoping we put together one last totally uninspired effort so to force Teddy's hand.

I've done the unthinkable and put money on a Wizard loss. Make yourselves useful to me Wizards.

Yup. For the first time in years I am, absolutely, unequivocally, rooting for a loss. I hope the players (whom I genuinely like) can forgive me, but this regime must change, and sustained losing seems to be the only way it's going to happen.

I'm actually feeling very confident in a loss this game. If Beal and Pierce are out, we won't have any spacing and Detroit has too much size for us to pound it in the paint.

I have changed my mindset back to 100 percent rooting for the Wiz to win and play great. I can't keep waiting on Ted. I find him to be very annoying. He's supposed to be new wave innovated but he never makes any moves until he's truly forced to. Therefore it's time to place all my support behind Witt and just hope that with a full roster these guys will start to click again.

Hope Wallstar comes back, Nene/Gortat dominating, and playoff Pierce/Beal show up with a solid bench. It's possible and you might as well get on board. We still have the talent to beat all of these teams in the East. We aren't that far off if we can find a groove. We are playing way worse then we are. There is still time to flip it. I still think Newman deserved a shot though

One edit needed in the title... the game is here in DC

Pistons blowout win at Verizon Center in front of Leonsis has to create some kind of reaction

Risky bid cause every streak has own end. Besides Pistons played last night double OT. Root for the loss but save your money and don't bid.

Pistons had been playing some good ball so I was expecting a loss to a guy we couldve had in SVG. That wouldve been icing on the cake but when you lose at home to the Knicks then chances are its the start of a funk. We are playing like crap right now but most likely Beal & Pierce will play which means we will likely win against a team who will probably have atleast one more crap game.

However, if anyone on this board is going to the game tonight then you have to take one for the team. The #1 thing that gets coaches fired is fan mutiny. Its one thing to be on a message board. That doesnt necessarily move the needle. However, when the Wiz look lackluster again and the whole arena starts chanting "Fire Wittman" then that is the quickest way to end this nightmare. You actually dont even have to say that. Just start booing the team until you almost boo them off the court. Leonsis has to move then

The Pistons just lost to one of the worst starting lineups of all time and the Wiz are struggling. This could go either way. I was just curious if someone could update me on Beal? How long is he supposed to be out for?

He's close. He wants to go through a full practice before playing. So I doubt he plays tonight. Probably next week.

Paul Pierce and Humphries may or may not play tonight either.

Rooting for a Pistons blow out win. Ted is a bad owner, wish Mark Cuban owned the Wizards. Randy and EG should be fired right now.

Stickied. Thanks, OP, for being doing it as a first tie thread starter. Would like to see all boardies take a shot at it.

I hope we win, only because our loser owner is more desperate to be liked than to scramble some eggs in the org and make some long-needed changes. A loss will mean nothing to him.

I put my tickets up for sale for the rest of the season. Just can't stomach paying good money to watch this team free fall. Unfortunately, I couldn't sell tonight's game so I will be forced to watch this mess of a team in person with my son.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wittman gets fired if the Wizards lose tonight. But, it will make me sick to think that yet another coach will be canned while Teflon Ernie Grunfeld keeps on a chuggin'.
