Whatever get it over with already and ship the Morii at the first opportunity in the offseason. This season can't be salvaged anyways

But there is some truth to Kief's comment as attested by our pathetic attendance records

He's right, Suns fans in the arena are pathetic. And don't give me that BS about the tickets being high. Warriors tickets are high, and fans still pack Oracle every single game, even before they were one of the elite teams in the NBA. Lakers tickets are expensive, and fans still show up even without Kobe even playing. Knicks tickets are high, yet people still show up and they're terrible. Suns have a bad fan base because they're in a bad market for sports and they have no star player.

Are you insinuated that this reporter, who does have locker room access, fabricated a quote? I see absolutely no incentive for him to do so.

I say let Knight go in the FA and throw a max at Pop. Then sign whatever player he wants with the money left.

Well, if you make tickets expensive and the games sell out then I don't see a problem with that. When we have the 5th most expensive tickets in the league, and more expensive than the Warriors, and have thousands of empty seats then there is no defending those ticket prices.

So if Knight is sidelined for a lengthy part of the remainder of the season does that devalue him on the market going forward? I mean we kinda needed to give him some time to acclimate to determine whether he fits in the long term, but i dont even know anymore...

Re: Game 60: San Antonio Spurs (34-23) @ Phoenix Suns (31-28)
Our fans do suck generally. I can admit that. I watched the Kansas game today and it was a night and day comparison as opposed to the Suns games.
With that being said, tickets are way overpriced. More than $50 to sit down low is pricing the middle income families out of attending most games. Most business suits own the lower level and generally go to talk business-- doubtful they have much of a dog in the fight.
I don't get why they don't give more tickets away or do better promos. We haven't been to the playoffs in 5 years, we just traded the most popular player on the team all the while being in the middle of huge bandwagon /transplant city. What does management expect?

I don't get what's so great about Knight. Nice guy and solid two guard but does not seem like a forceful presence on the court in any way. I don't see him becoming a star in this league.

Holy hell, just listen to the podcast, and what did he say wrong? He was on point. Fans from the opposing team are more into the game than our home crowd. Even when we face the Lakers this season, and they suck this year. The crowd needs to be the sixth man. Fan is short for fanatic. We don't have fans at the games, we have spectators.

Re: Game 60: San Antonio Spurs (34-23) @ Phoenix Suns (31-28)
Keef is 110% correct. Our fan base is **** garbage. I understand ticket prices, the product on the floor, etc isn't up to par to what we can afford/want at this time. People need to show up and get LOUD at the game in general. Go to a damn Warriors game and you'll see what a real fan base looks like. Even in the worst times they still had a fan base that was amped no matter what. Last time I went to a Suns game when I visited my folks, the person behind me (snowbirds go figure) told me to sit down after a crazy play/cheering. Unbelievable. I still think Sarver needs to get the **** out of Arizona. I don't care if he's trying to change his perception of all the stupid **** he's done in the past but him and his puppets need to hit the road.

Give me $100,000 to play 35 minutes of basketball and I'll gladly play in an empty arena. Or in front of 10,000 quiet old people. Or even in front of a bunch of jackasses yelling obscenities at me. Where do I sign up?

The thing about him is there isn't the fluidity to his game and he's just not assertive. Its almost as if he winces/deliberates before attacking the rim. Even if he keeps jackings 3s and makes them at a consistent clip he's not an elite shooter to be a gamechanger, but we don't have much of a choice to go another decision. FO gave up the LAL pick, so they will have to re-sign to save face

Bledsoe unless he is driving, is a liability as PG. Knight is a slightly better than average off ball shooter, but no star. Then everyone else is battling to be a starter or bench contributor.
Mully with the nutshell.
and WTF is Keif getting in the face of Len and anyone else for that matter (that muddle-huddle outburst) ? Leadership ? Didn't look like it to me.
Tom Chambers said it was Kieff taking charge and being a leader which are all good things. But by all means keep spewing hate.
How did it work out ?
You stay on your perpetual MoBro defense, they are going to need it. Its not just me who is sick of them.
What ? Me Worry ?

The last few pages of Suns fans siding with a player who bitches about the fans after a 24 point first half is RealGM at its finest

I feel like retaining this roster will keep us being a mediocre treadmill team perpetually being on the outside looking in. You have to nuke it, if you want a shot at finding your franchise player in the draft. Maybe keep one of Bled or Knight, Len, Goodwin, Warren as your core

I see your point. At the same time, wouldn't you rather our home games be more electric? It would definitely give our team more of an advantage if we had fans like GS or OKC.
