Part of the reason that the Raptors and the Suns got blown out was because they were taking jumpers non-stop. Outside of Bledsoe's feverish attempt to drive and draw fouls, the rest of that Suns team was content with launching bricks at the hoop, with no one in position for offensive rebounds.
My question is, who's going to help get the Lakers out of a shooting drought? Who on this team will be the one that says, the team is cold, so I'm going to put the team on my back and get to the hoop? It's not going to be Wesley Johnson, and while Ellington can drive, he likes his jumper more and will probably go to it if the Lakers are down. Lin is an interesting candidate, since he's shown that he can finish through contact in the lane, but too often he'll pick up his dribble just out of layup range and look for a pass that isn't there. Eventually, he's forced to pass out while he should have just been more aggressive in the first place. Clarkson's situation is a bit weird. He's been going to his jumper much more now, but he's hit them at insane rates, and he did tell everyone that he worked on it with Nash. That could explain the rise in volume of jump shots over layups. He's shown he has the speed and hops to take it to the lane and finish though. Boozer has that thing where he fakes the handoff and drives, but otherwise he's sticking to his rainbow fadeaway.
So who's it going to be? Lin? Clarkson? Randle? Someone in free agency? Because a lineup full of shooters is bound to get in a rut every now and then, and someone on the floor has to pick up the slack when that happens. Otherwise, you'll end up on the wrong side of a 30 point blowout in the blink of an eye.

Kinda why I wanted **** Dragic. The guy was shooting 70% at the rim and one of the leagues leader in fast break point despite losing 40% of his usage last year without Bledsoe. He was Prfect to score, get us out, push the break, draw fouls, etc.

Too early and too late to think about that. Once team is rebuilt then worry
