Agreed, and have posted it twice. Would be a good choice as he turned Washington snd Virginia completely around. Our young core fits his style of play, and who knows, maybe one of his old players from Washington decides to follow Curry and come play for him one day, you know that guy named Klay Thompson. Curry also comes home, and splash brothers continue

And the fact that Tony Bennett used to be a hornet makes it even better

He was awful. I used to cringed when he'd come in the games for Bogues. Some games he could barely get the ball over halfcourt. Couldn't beat anyone off the dribble. Couldn't defend anyone. Only plus was a decent outside shot. Saw him and his hot wife once at the Harris Teeter near Southpark once upon a time. Would make for a fine coach though.

Yeah, wasn't a good player and only lasted about 2-3 years. He is a heck of a good coach though, and one that I think can transition to the NBA

!!!

I didn't realize he was that same Tony Bennett. In one of those mid-90s NBA Live games, my goal was to take the most unheralded franchise (the Clippers, of course), assemble the most unheralded of players, and have them all average 10ppg en route to a championship. Tony Bennett and Tom Tolbert were like my MVPs.

Can't imagine why I didn't recognize the guy, though......

I would likely commit ritual suicide if Mike Brown was hired.

I don't expect Cliff to get fired this summer ... but right now I really would like to see someone else coaching this team.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Return to Charlotte Hornets
